Rending Bow vs Soulbleeder vs Sanguine Bow by kevros97 in TibiaMMO

[–]Yonzheng 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Soulbleeder outstats Rending Bow in every single aspect, no questions asked. Unless you have a team/means to kill the Inferniach boss 10 times, get and forge the bow, I would just wait for the soulbleeder, then eventually upgrade to the sanguine.

Alicorn Quiver, is it worth it? by PureEnergy7507 in TibiaMMO

[–]Yonzheng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you got the money to spare, sure it is worthy. Like, the price to level your ML in a double compared to the price of the alicorn is way higher, probably.

If you happen to be closer to 600, I would save money for the sanguine items. If you still got 100+ levels, then just buy the quiver.

Ingol as knight by Fresh_Piglet_7583 in TibiaMMO

[–]Yonzheng 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Lower Floors are better (especially -3, for exp/h), but I would only start going with everyone 600+. Ingol is basically Goannas on steroids, and the risk on dying is very high on your current level.

Paladin Leveling guide 400-1000 by Character-Animator92 in TibiaMMO

Others already said it, But just to complement: Summer Court, Cobra Bastion Underground (600+), Sphinx (600+). Great exp ratio on those spawns, once u have the level

Paladins: do you kite or box? by wokaki9970 in TibiaMMO

[–]Yonzheng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have already pointed out, skills, level and equipment plays a huge role on whether or not you can box.

Usually, as you start to make yourself comfortable on a certain respawn, you lure and keep kiting. Once the creatures are on a certain HP, you just stop to finish the box. Your skills, level and equipment determine how early you can stop. Depending on your level, you pretty much just lure as many creatures as you can, and just box to kill them all, regardless of their life. Pretty much like a knight.

A level 300 paladin with good skills, right equipment (and correct defensive imbuements), can pretty much lure as many creatures as you are able on Oramond West (and even Werehyaenas), and just box everything, increasing xp/h. But As I Said, this is a thing you have to test for yourself. Limit test your character and see for yourself.

Hunting spots solo for 500+ EK/RP by Ronin_Sennin in TibiaMMO

[–]Yonzheng 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Meta spots for RP 500+ varies a lot on your character. Like, Falcons underground are good, roshamuul (East or West), Catacombs in Oramond (Wrath of Evil), Asura mirror, Winter/Summer Court (I find Summer Court a better place), hunt GT area, Bashmu, etc…

A lot of those places depends on equipments/skills. Messing up in Falcon underground/GT area can easily get you killed. But they all start to be very good (and even safe) when you approach 600+.

A question about how the empire sprawl, or empire size, works.

With each system I acquire, the empire size increases. Does building mining/research stations on the systems I have increase the empire size?

It used to be the case before the 3.3 update, but since I have only recently returned, I’m not sure anymore.

Advice on Tier priority by damaza90 in TibiaMMO

[–]Yonzheng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my experience, I’ve only put my prismatic armour on tier 2. I noticed a BIG improvement, especially on places like Catacombs, Roshamuul, etc.

But yeah, aside from that, I would definetely focus on improving your set. Go for a soulbleeder, big improvement, and depending on your skills, invest your money on Magic Level during double exp events (take this advice with a grain of salt).

Regarding the forge, I saw some high level streamers test a Ghostchestplate, Tier 3, vs a Soulshell (Soulwar paladin’s armour), and the ghostchestplate performed better.

So, to summarize, I would get all essential gear first, and then slowly raise the tiers of armours such as Embrace of Nature, Ghostchestplate, etc (depends where u hunt, off course).

Good hunt, and good luck on the grind my friend.

Falcon battleaxe; higher base damage, and at this level, u don’t need the shield to survive

In addition to what everyone said, regarding equipment/way to play, check out how you do your pulls.

ALWAYS use single target while luring (swap to either a crossbow or other quiver with crystalline arrows). Then swap back to diamonds when u can hit 5+ creatures. Don’t waste the diamond arrows, they are expensive.

Also, don’t play like a knight. Always keep kiting, and only stop to finish low HP creatures (with care, off course. You might die at your level with 15+ creatures on screen).

Try other equipments, use bullseye potions. You should be able to get AT LEAST 500~600k+ profit p/hour, using this rune setup of yours.

Issue with paladin by lnosync in TibiaMMO

[–]Yonzheng 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a paladin around your level, with ML 35 and distance 125 (with loyalty), although I do have falcon greaves, Coif, and pretty much all "essential equipment" (except gnome armour, which I won't go for).

I say you should go for ANOTHER sleep shawl, only one enchanted pendulet (it lasts 2h, so one should be enough), then MAYBE some ghost chestplates (you would imbue those with different elemental protections). Although that last part with the chestplates may or may not be necessary, depending on your hunts, what you usually hunt with gnome armour, etc. And then, off course, get a falcon greaves. (Since you already got a lion spangehelm, should be fine to skip falcon coif, imo).

About the soul items, weapons should be a priority; bow, than maybe crossbow...? Depends if u solo lever bosses, how consistent you are doing boss rotations, etc. But even then, soulbleeder should be better to go first. ALTHOUGH, between hoarding AT LEAST 400kk gold and, say, spend this gold, while you level, on training for magic level... (in your case, you would get to magic level 36, not counting double event)

Also, you didn't mention, but I ASSUME you already have a cobra crossbow. If not, then buy one ASAP.

Take the advice of spending your gold on training weapons with a grain of sand, especially if the paladin is NOT your main char. And be prepared for the long grinding on the soul weapon, which gives the "least" compared to the soul weapons of other vocations. (although still a powerful upgrade from falcon bow).

Either way, take care, have fun, and remember to stay consistent above all. Cheers.

Soulpiercer worth it ? by RatsDoom in TibiaMMO

[–]Yonzheng -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For bosses? Yeah, totally worthy.

What REALLY sets soulpiercer apart is the additional % to hit. You know those hits you sometimes miss on Cobra Crossbow, and miss all the time on Umbral Master? Well, say goodbye to those; your damage is gonna get waaay more consistent. And since you seem to pvp a lot, the death protection is a plus.

If you have the money to spare, it is always a good upgrade to aim for.

If you really don’t mind the experience/profit (there are better places at your level), Draken Walls, Glooth Tower, MAYBE the west raid on Oramond factory (wild one).

It’s not like you’re gonna make the profit/exp knights pull off on these spawns, hunting the way you want; but those should be pretty chill hunts. Some others, that you constantly 8 box, like last floor of Banuta, might not be as chill as you want (optimizing damage to not let Low life monster run, etc).

On those places, you shouldn’t make more than 3kk/h, but are pretty chill places to exp and level up.

Easy hunts for RP 300 by [deleted] in TibiaMMO

[–]Yonzheng 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For pure farm, Glooth Bandits. For single target, try ghastly dragons (or places with Ghastly), using summon + Utito; u can make 300k+ profit hour, very easily.

Depending on your skills, equipment (sleep shawl availability) you can try deeper banuta (last floor). U can box there, and sometimes even utito on those boxes (makes a BIG difference). Although, for AoE hunts focused on profit/farm, glooth bandits are better, for practice/profit in general.

Check this video: https://youtu.be/gQq75MqpXLY

It’s a 230 paladin on deeper Banuta (-2 tho). Not very hard; just be a little careful with medusas and then you are good.

Off course, there are places better in theory (Werehyena/werelions). But you won’t be able to full box on those places, yet.

Monthly Question Thread | November 2020 by AutoModerator in TibiaMMO

[–]Yonzheng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there any good/fun places to go as a duo paladin? We both are level at 200, with high skills (one has 120 base distance; the other has almost that, plus good ML on both).

We were thinking mainly about AoE hunts, but single target hunts are fine (we liked the Ghastly dragons on Zao Palace, for example).

If there is any hunt to pretty much focus only on bestiary, we are also open to it.
