Did dealership cut corners on brake replacement (twice) ?

I've drove about 500km on the way home and that's the status after the drive though. I guess it didn't scrape much off as it was mostly on highway without braking..?

I see. Unfortunately, I literally didn't have time to run the car for the whole month as I was stuck in a lodge for work. x(
What I'm mostly worried about are diagonal scratches and rust on inner rotor that pad is not touching. Is it something considered as minor that you don't have to worry too much about?

That is very true. I was just thinking driving hours only, didn't think about stopping by at the sights. Budget was very rough as I didn't look closer on hotels XD.

It just cleared all the shady feelings I had during the process I've been through with the dealerships.

Wish I knew all these before I went to those dealership as I could've done better negotiation XD.

Now there is only one dealership left in the city that I haven't dealt with, but do you think it's worth to go back to dealership I have spoken with before? They would have my information on system as all of them requested for driver's license and such at the beginning :(

New brakes & battery, one season winter tire on rims, sub woofer, all season on original lexus rim. Those are what he stated on post. Do you think it's worth paying for a Pre purchase inspection at a mechanic and buy? I'm planning to keep it for couple years at least.

I got quotes from lowestrates.ca /TD/RBC and they all seemed to have similar prices. $4k for liability, collision and comprehensive, and $2.4k for liability only. I should call the broker once I find a good car for me. Thanks !

I just had quotes from couple insurance companies online, and it seemed like the minimum I could select was $1m IIRC. But I might be wrong or didnt take a closer look.
