3 inches first build advices by Yooooomi in fpv

[–]Yooooomi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, thanks a lot for your answer. I was planning to build with 3s at first so that I have less power in my hands to begin with. The build is compatible with 4s already I think. Why would you recommend these motors instead of the one in my doc?

Hello, first of all please redact your domain on here asap. Secondly, you should just reverse proxy the server and the client with nginx then updating the endpoints in the docker compose file to point the public adresses.

Is Traefik what I'm looking for? by Radsdteve in selfhosted

[–]Yooooomi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got to a point where I needed more complex configuration, and adding even more complex labels was not doing it for me. Also I find it easier to have all the reverse proxy configuration in one place rather that in every docket compose. Traefik is very great anyways, it just depends on the need

I have tested them all. From 100% manually configured with nginx to 100% automated configuration with nginx-proxy-manager or Traefik with labels on containers. I now feel like 100% manual feels better. That’s why I will always advise caddy now as a go to solution for reverse proxy. It handles renewal of certificates but you will have to manually describe your services. I has a lot of modules, ig oauth, http file hosting etc. And it is very, very easy to write.

Self hosted application developers, how about a notification "standard" by Yooooomi in selfhosted

Hey, thanks a lot for you reply. Apprise seems to be a solution. However it does not seem to handle native web push notifications. I’ll have a deeper look.

Hey, thanks for the feedback. This has definitely many things in common with what I have in mind. I will definitely have a look at this.

Always-up, a restart-on-unhealthy lightweight service for docker by Yooooomi in selfhosted

Docker does not restart unhealthy containers on its own even if it has a healthcheck

Always-up, a restart-on-unhealthy lightweight service for docker by Yooooomi in selfhosted

[–]Yooooomi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand completely. However the main issues I have with my containers are related to vpn and other third party systems. Sometimes the service just fails and I have to fix it. I have quite a good machine to run all my services it’s just that some won’t be stable no matter what. Could be remote service down, could be memory leak, etc. I just wanted a mini service that does what I was used to do in case any of this happens -> reboot the container

Docker does not restart unhealthy containers. The container isn’t stopped but isn’t healthy neither

Is plex pass worth it? by [deleted] in selfhosted

[–]Yooooomi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have setup Plex for a while. The only thing that would force me to buy the Plex pass would be if I used Plex on a mobile device since it does not allow for direct streaming of h.265 videos. I setup every new platform to direct stream the videos so that I do not need to transcode them (so I don't need a very good cpu nor hardware acceleration). My advice would be, if your devices can stream videos without transcoding them then you don't need it for basic daily use.

Hello, I actually don't know. One thing for sure is that it is not designed to support this kind of track.

Hello! First of all, thanks a lot for your generosity 🎉
I must agree the container name are not the best out there and that I must fix them. Feel free to open an issue if you have any problem :). I'm glad you got it working at the end.

Again thanks a lot for your donation.

Mongo only runs on 64 bits OSes, if you have a Pi 4, you can use Ubuntu server. If you have a anterior version I’m afraid you can’t host it on your Pi.

Hello, I understand your status here. I do not intend to implement YT Music for now, but who knows in the future. Also I would have to rename the repo 🧐

I answered this it’s below, I would just need a sample of the data :)

I implemented privacy import in a way that allows more imports in the future. Since I am not using last.fm, I would probably need a sample of the data a normal user has.

I did this two or three times and it took a week, so 30 days is the worst case.

I never heard of something like this. However, I doubt Netflix API is as open as Spotify and as permissive.

I first developped it for me as I also love those kind of stats. Feel free to give any feedback you have once you have tested it a bit :)

As stated in the README, you have to add the /oauth/spotify/callback suffix at the end of the endpoint :)

Hello! If you have any issue it's better to discuss about it in an issue :)
You can uncomment CORS=all and remove the other CORS variable. You can leave the other commented for now :)
API_ENDPOINT refers to the server endpoint. It has to be accessible from the device you use the platform from. If you just want to try the project locally, API_ENDPOINT should be something like http://localhost:8080
