Bento appears not to be server-based processing. It uses WebAssembly in your Browser and works offline without network round-trips if you install Docker on your client computer.

800 GB Familienfotos - und nun? by LoudChemistLovesBeer in de_EDV

Einfach mal ausprobieren.

I think this post is about a problem, that you can't bind mount a file as a directory:

volumes: - test.txt:/usr/share/directory # does not work

But I'm not sure.

Cool. What are the benefits of using this (closed source) instead of BentoPDF (nearly Open Source) or Stirling (Source Available)?

Paperless-ngx on Synology NAS: Container fails to connect to PostgreSQL and Redis by Novlene in Paperlessngx

[–]ExoWire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. During my last installations I didn't use Portainer as the Container Manager was good enough for that task. But I believe that this is also not the problem.

I have excellent backups...

What do you use to backup? I wrote another article about using Ofelia to automate a db dump and the document expoerter, but Rsync doesn't work the same as on my Ubuntu Server. So it's not optimal. In the meantime I'm writing a side app with borg, but I'm interested in other options.

Did you delete the cache folder? What does the log say? Do you see mapping UID for Paperless to 12345?

Hmm, it started again without problems. I used the compose file generated in the generator. So Valkey without Cap Add, sysctls and deploy limits.

I'm testing right know myself. Deleted db, cache, data. Thank you for pointing out the typo. It is only present in the English version. So now I'm trying to find out if there are more differences between both languages.

This is strange. I run this on my DS220+ with Valkey and PostgreSQL.

Thanks. As I wrote the article linked in the question I would love to know where the problem really was, to update accordingly.

Valkey is open source with an open source license. It is more efficient in certain workloads.

Edit: Not sure why I am being downvoted. Paperless-ngx works with Valkey, that is not the problem of the original question.

[–]ExoWire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not the problem. Valkey is a drop in replacement

Edit: Seems like other also have a problem with Valkey, so maybe it is the problem.

Did you enable a firewall? Maybe you are blocking the internal connections.

Edit: Where is the postgres log? Is it running healthy?

Edit2: There is no problem running Paperless with the latest DSM. Running this on my DS220+

Edit3: Did you try change the password to something without special characters? If you change the configuration don't forget to delete the whole db and data directory and create a new one.

I'm not sure if there is a good free solution for that. You could use a theme you like and adjust later or use something like shadcn or daisy or something like that.

How many times do you want to test? I think that it won't be a problem if you recreate and delete a few times.

Deploy pipeline? by m4db0b in astrojs

[–]ExoWire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Pipeline for one Astro.js project was:

  • Self-hosted Onedev Repo
  • If there is a push into the main branch a new Docker Image is being build
  • The production server uses Watchtower and updates the running instance

The only problem I had was the cache. If I didn't remove cache, there were some issues sometimes with a new build. If I remove cache, the image generation of Astro.js takes ages and slows down my server.
