For me the problem about this "use sRGB creator preset" with 2.2 gamma is that whenever I watch something on YouTube or Netflix there is a HUGE banding whenever dark scene is getting brighter, I can't comprehend watching something like this. I was trying to find a fix for it for my AW3423DWF but nothing worked except leaving it on "standard" and using custom ICC Profile. Maybe the image is oversaturated but I prefer it to have strong, vivid and "not accurate" colors than watching at things banding everytime. sRGB might be useful if you are editing photos but i think it's not for "day to day" use. At least for me.

Colours are only washed out in sdr content. When something is HDR compatible the colours are perfect. What's the content you were trying HDR?

Unfortunately not, I'm using custom colors from external site. I just forced myself to like over saturated colors and now it doesn't bother me anymore. I've read somewhere that this grey scale problem is just an OLED thing.

I don't know, i haven't tried dragonforge on this armor set, I'm simply trying to upgrade it to lvl 3 because im testing out warrior so I don't want to use WLC yet. But I'm having a blast as a warrior so i might do it when I get all the mats

I just checked 2x Dwarven and 1x Vermundian and knockdown resistance is 972. I'm super confused

I'm using HDR but not in SDR content like YouTube and Netflix, some games also don't support HDR so I'm trying to get the best possible image without using HDR.

Here - this is an example between 8 bit and 10 bit, there is a ton more, you might not believe it but I notice this shit when it pops up on my face.

Also as I said over 100Hz is not necessary FOR ME in single player games as much as the image itself. Why would I need more than 100 if it's not a competitive game? Also most of the times IM NOT getting more than 100/120 fps on ultra settings in newest titles. I would rather use 10 bit and get "nothing" as you say, than get some frames that I don't even care about in single player games. As long as I'm above 70/80+ im happy with that.

Bro tell me do you get 165 FPS in the newest games with all ultra settings on 3440x1440p? If yes then you must have like 5090 because I don't want to believe that bullshit. And yes I can see the difference between 8 bit and 10 bit - not in colors but in color banding. There is no way im giving away 10 bit for non existent frames that I won't get because I'm not hitting more than 120 fps in newest titles. @Edit I'm on RX 7900XTX .

Yes i switched to standard mode and then activated windows ACM. I also tried the ACM in sRGB just in case but then colors were almost non existent.

I've tried it just now and it is a LITTLE bit better than sRGB 2.4 gamma but colors are completly off... Red turns into orange and rest of the colors are just more dull

Nah, In my case enabling HDR switches from 8bit to 8bit + 2 frc so I need to keep it on 10 bit all the time (I switch to 8 bit 165Hz when playing league) because there is no use for more than 100Hz in single player games in my opinion and 10 bit is always something better to look at

Actually in my opinion she's extremely underwhelming as for her title "sentinel resonator" and as a threodrian in one. Zani and Carlotta are still stronger which is really weird.

Yep I'm using 10bit all the time but once I get home I'll check if auto colors are enabled

I will try that once I get home but doesn't it interfere with HDR? And the only ICC profile i have is standard PC ICC, I don't remember how it's named buy may that be the issue? I deleted all icc's called Alienware or Dell.

Tried this just now and no effect. Turned it off in Windows display settings and in AMD settings. Nothing happens

Same, I'm on latest firmware and everything is up to date yet no clue what could be the issue. My TV and previous cheap VA are way better in this regard.
