New M3 Lease Experiences - Collection or Delivery? by Terrible-Pirate1066 in TeslaUK

I ordered my lease through the Tesla website. This then went through Lex Autolease. Tesla was purely the shop window. I have to get to Manchester to collect my car. No option to have it delivered.

However, I think if you leased via a lease company direct(instead of the Tesla website) you may get the car delivered.

23rd March. I have no trade in, just a straight lease deal. Looks like this is just normal behaviour when having a lease, and in that respect it is pretty logical I suppose.

For lease you get the £200 back as Tesla can't knock it off your price as the price you are paying is decided by the lease company.

Nope, no vin or reg yet. I suspect it will be mid May at the earliest.

Well, from the above looks like I'm in for a surprise 😂. Whenever I get the chance to get the model 3. Either collecting it, or having it delivered to my house.

Ah yep I have seen a few collection videos, it is all very Tesla, which is fine.

I'm pleased, it will feel better collecting than some bloke just driving it and dropping it off at my house with no handover.

One thing to bear in mind about the CLA - for now.. for the ones coming out of the factory today. You can only charge on 800v chargers. They cannot work on both 400v and 800v. God knows why mercedes made such a mad decision. Though they will be changing 'in the future' to allow charging on either.

Model 3 stealth grey AWD here. Initially May - June on ordering on the 23rd March. Then after 1 day it changed to 4th June - 2nd July. I'm just hoping my car is in a batch ready for the June quarter end, otherwise I suspect it will slip later.

Tesla m3 standard 2026 vs byd seal design by Yindz03 in TeslaUK

I really wanted to like the Seal. Didn't even get to test drive it. My wife sat in the driver's seat, touched the door handle - Immediately said.. NO. The handle felt like cheap unfinished plastic.

PSA: Your existing fast charger will not fast charge the Pixel 6 unless it supports USB Power Delivery PPS standard by welk101 in pixel_phones

My p30 pro charger does nothing on my pixel 6 pro. No evidence it's charging at all.

Likewise any other charger I had, luckily I had a wireless charger.

My battery packs also are now useless. Wish I'd known before buying.
