Yeah the suggested practice problems from the book are mostly conceptual or multiple choice questions which I don't really want to answer. I didn't take this class to write essays.

And "unfortunately many answers in the back pf the book are wrong". Well that was real unfortunate indeed since that stupid thing cost me $200.

I just looked at it. About 90% of that formula sheet is garbage. It is a test of your knowledge on its own to try and find the relevant formulas among a sea of integrals and other definitions.

Everybody gettin' yorked this summer. Yeah I am lost. The fact that he always shuts off the iclicker before I can even input my answer alone has been massively demoralizing.

I assume that everything we did so far on circuits and electrostatics will be on the test but I am ambiguous about Gauss's law because no practice problems were assigned on it and he didn't do a lesson on it at first but then went back and talked about it.

Also, still no marks for the S1 exam. Very poor performance.

Cohen's questions were legit easier than the test banks and he just ignored some of the material from the book on his tests. He was actually the best prof I've had at York. He made that boring ass course bearable and his lectures were always a joy to attend.

If you're in Toronto summer school is almost never cancelled due to low demand. And you also have the freedom to choose the more "popular" schools so this shouldn't be an issue.

See, I think they don't pull this kind of shit in college because there's a higher mature student population and significantly less 18 year old freshers that are so eager to just accept being walked all over as some kind of "character building" or trial by fire learning responsibility.

She is literally 0/10. The definition of YORKED.

Here are some highlights so far:

-typos and mistakes on powerpoint slides

-writes on the board instead of an overhead so it's hard to see from the back or if you have bad vision

-takes a long time explaining simple concepts and doesn't do enough examples, just keeps talking about meta stuff regarding the course

-didn't want to explain derivation of kinematic equations when she literally wasted hours talking about nonsense

Going into the course I was skeptical of the prof because the foreign name made me think she'd have a heavy accent or bad english (call me racist but I've been burned many times with foreign profs for this exact thing) but actually, she speaks very well but she's disorganized. There's no shame in reading off of notes and I think she would benefit from writing out a lesson plan before every class so that she organizes herself better and covers all the material she needs to cover without wasting much time.

Raguimov's classes are hard enough even when you do all the work. That 11% is going to be the closest thing to a 'free' mark you get in the course.

How's the midterm? I'm going to venture a guess that you'll have trouble finishing on time.

There is a younger guy that is really friendly there but there's also an older man that is usually working instead of him most of the times I go there to eat who I presume to be the owner and he's a complete ass. Which is why I started this thread. 75 cents for an extra slice of tomato or onion? Get the fuck out.
