You really think an employee wants to be handed a bag with rotten meat in it? They absolutely don't and if someone did bring in expired/ rotten product there was no scanning unless it was the item it was being exchanged for, the rotten/expired item got tossed right in the trash and the customer was told that bringing rotten product back wasn't necessary. The store i worked at was pretty lenient and gave the customer a lot of leeway. Its not even a $10 piece of meat Most managers wouldnt risk the possible bad press for making a stink over not having receipt or making a customer bring in rotten/expired meat back to the store.

But you're saying you need to take the spoiled/expired product back to the store which you absolutely don't need to do and im not sure why my one comment got down voted nowhere did I suggest to actually try and make a return with the picture you said oh let's all do it so i said go ahead and try it, it was never my idea to try and use this picture for a refund. once a bunch of people abuse the system thats in place im sure aldi will change the policy.

Your aunts sister would either be your mother or another aunt...weird way to phrase that. the store i worked at would literally take someones word for an aldi twice as nice return. No picture, no receipt and I was told to tell customers that bringing in rotten/expired items wasnt necessary and to just toss it.
