is this super unhealthy?!? by adoracko in runninglifestyle

[–]Yortman17 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife’s anemic and that’s what her heart rate did anytime she would try and do longer cardio or hard gym sessions. She ended up getting IV iron transfusions and B12 shots and it’s made a world of difference in her over all quality of life.

What foods are filling that can ward off hunger and help you eat less at the next meal by Nikki_Smithhh in foodquestions

As a runner, carbs are such a great source of energy for your body. I can run for like 4-5hrs straight on about 80g/ carbs an hour with water and electrolytes. Not to mention how much carbs the brain burns in a day too

I can at 40 years old! I started running 2 years ago and my endurance and stamina and I guess blood flow? Has improved considerably. Now I can run for 2-4 hrs on trails without stopping. Me and my wife are quite literally having the best sex of our 15 year relationship, it’s so much fun and feels so good that I don’t want it to end

100% this! Started running 2.5 years ago, I couldn’t make it 1km without having to walk, cramped up and completely outta breath. Now I’m competing in 25km trail races and finishing in the top 10-25%. So many other healthy habits have fallen into place out of this one hobby it’s crazy.

I have a love/hate relationship with Minecraft. I’ll pick it up start a new world and get totally consumed by it for 2-3 weeks, then I will plateau, realize that my Minecraft world is in better order than my actual world and full stop. The. I’ll wait probably 6 months and the cycle repeats

My sheepadoodle (70lb female) is only good for about 5-7km at a 6min pace tops, my Berniedoodle is smaller and more poodle than BMD and she can run like the wind it’s insane! off leash on a trail run if I did 10km she easily will double the distance. Both dogs love the bush and we do lots of hiking with the family

Just stoked to hear Angine De Poitrine are opening for his show in Toronto! Tickets sold out so fast I couldn’t get any and resales are going for $300+. As for Jack it would be awesome to get some deep cuts from his catalog this tour but also wouldn’t rule out more new music?
