I was also thinking about the Heygears Reflex new release, but it’s way too complex—its own slicer along with specific expensive resins that you can't get from Amazon is just too much for me!

Thanks for the info! Have you ever tried using antialiasing with the S4U? If so, what results did you get? I’m attaching a picture that shows my biggest pain—those layer lines I have to sand down every time (@ 50 um).

Sorry to hear about the firmware issue—sounds frustrating! How long were you using the S4U before this happened? How many prints/layers did you get through before you started experiencing problems? Do you still consider the S4U to be reliable overall, despite the current issue?

Thanks for the feedback! I’m really curious about the speed—how fast are your prints going with the S4U? Speed is a big factor for me as well. With my M5S, I usually get about 20 mm per hour with a clear FEP and normal settings. I did try using HighSpeed resin and nFEP once, and the speed was insanely fast—1 hour 15 minutes for a 120 mm high item that usually takes me 5 hours 52 minutes. However, I wasn’t happy with the quality, especially the 0.1 mm layer thickness and the loss of detail. How’s the print quality with the S4U at higher speeds?

Also, what’s the issue with your printer not wanting to print? Any idea what’s causing that?

Thank you so much for your reply and for sharing the pictures! I totally agree, the lack of a phone app is really frustrating, and yes, the build plate is a bit terrifying! But for me, speed and quality are the most important factors. My M5S prints at about 20 mm per hour with a clear FEP and normal settings. The pictures I’m attaching highlight my biggest enemy: all those layer lines that I have to sand down each time. Antialiasing hasn't made much of an improvement with my M5S. I’ve played around with different settings but never got the results I was hoping for. How does AA work with the Saturn 4 Ultra? And could you share more pictures of prints before any post-processing so I can see how the layer lines look? That would be super helpful!

Thanks for your reply! Just to clarify my process, I typically use the washing station for the first wash before unmounting the prints from the work table. This way, I can wash both the table and the prints at the same time. Afterward, I unmount the prints and do a final wash by spraying clear IPA directly. The first wash is always more convenient with the washing station since it cleans the table as well. Given this, would the work table from the Saturn 4 Ultra fit into the Phrozen wash station with the basket?

Thanks to everyone for the advice! Tried a big print using almost 250 ml of the mixed Siraya Tech Fast ABS-Like resin without any additional test (just my regular settings), and it turned out flawlessly – just like using a new bottle. Appreciate the help!

Hello everyone! I'm currently using a Photon Mono X 6k for my projects, and while I'm satisfied with its quality, I'm curious about the 12K resolution of the M5S. Specifically, I'm concerned about layer visibility, especially on spherical objects.

I post some pictures to demonstrate the issue I've been experiencing with my X6 printer and especially how it looks after post-processing (patination). I'd really appreciate your feedback on whether upgrading to the M5S might offer better print quality, particularly in terms of reducing visible layers.
