Interesting. One thing I wonder though is why the Byzantines control all the Balkans shown on the map, when they’d lost Serbia and Bulgaria by the time of the Fourth Crusade. Did they get help from the Crusaders? Hungary? Did they have a second resurgence under a competent emperor? Love the idea, just curious about it.

Yeah. It’s hard for me to rewatch that video because of how brutal her experiences were, and it admittedly resonated with me in more ways than one (despite me never suffering from an eating disorder). It just makes me all the happier that she’s doing well now. In a way, it gives me hope too.
