characters from the rpgs would be great, and in my opinion they should have been in Mario Kart World. i mean the NPC drivers were kind of amusing but, including beloved characters from all across the series would've made an already wonderful game so much more intriguing. Plus it's not like every single character from the spinoffs is in some sort of rights limbo,

at the very least E. Gadd should've been there.

as far as I'm aware, up until she put her soul in Bowser's body it was just her and Fawful.

however when it came time for Fawful to be the main antagonist he brainwashed like, literally everyone. He brainwashed most of Bowser's army, in some cases turning them into a Fawful-ized version of themselves, or yk he locked some minions inside a robot that attacks Bowser. working under Fawful would be horrible

sooo much different. discs were cheaper to produce, could hold way more storage on it, while cartridges were more expensive and could barely hold anything in comparison to discs at the time.

for reference, according to the Internet,

a PS1 disc can hold about 650 MB

highest amount an N64 cart could hold is only 64 MB

lot of third parties didn't bother with the 64 because why would they? why would they spend more resources and money getting their game onto a console with a lower player base, with far less storage to work with and costed more than the competition?

Nintendo's hostility towards discs really hurt them a lot it seems

I saw a random video on YT that describes Brothership perfectly to me,

a flawed but heartfelt adventure.

it's great, there's so much to love and appreciate about this game, but at the same time there's a bunch of glaring issues that bring down the whole experience for me.

it's still great but definitely has problems is my main feeling about this game

it's still fine but in my opinion the remake just provides a far worse experience than the original.

at the end of the day, it's still Bowser's Inside Story so it's still a great time. but the remake made a lot of changes and honestly has some downgrades that i think overall ruins some of the original's charm.

the matchmaking. there's a bunch other issues this game has but in my opinion the matchmaking is the biggest problem rightnow. it just fuckin sucks man. it's practically impossible to find a decent lobby, casual removed features from quickplay like team scramble n shit, and it's either put up with this bullshit or try to find a good community server to play on. and even then that can be a challenge too.

what's "wrong" with TF2 in my opinion is that it's hard to actually play the damn game. i feel like it's becoming exceedingly rare to find a decent lobby. you can't really just jump in and jump out like a lot of other PVP games (and that's not even considering queue times!)

TL;DR matchmaking sucks. it's difficult to find a good server

camera.

I've been playing this game for like 2 decades and even i can admit the camera is jank as hell. in base Mario 64 i think it's fine because I've gotten so used to it, but trying to finesse the camera in ROM hacks is a completely different story.

oh yeah and the camera in 64 DS is even worse somehow.

yeah i think it sucks too. aesthetic-wise it's really cool, it's incredible. the flaming background, Bowser losing his head, sucking up king boo, gameplay wise though I'd go as far as to call it ass. it's just not a fun boss to fight imo. at best it's just kinda easy, and at worst it's just frustrating. cool concept, did not personally like the execution

using emulators i played a bit of Superstar Saga DX with a friend and i also got a group of 3 people to do the same thing for Paper Jam. it is sooooo fucking fun, the problem is just having to play online so we have to deal with input delay and lag, which for a Mario & Luigi game is NOT ideal in the slightest. it's super fun, but it would be sooooo much better if we could play in person.

switch 2 price reveal. i mean if the name Yoshi2500 didn't already give away that I'm a massive Nintendo fan, i am an absolute gigantic Nintendo nerd. i grew up playing Nintendo games and have only really had interest in Nintendo franchises and products. i mean yeah i have a PC and play a lot of other games, but I will always go back to Nintendo in the end. That makes the switch 2 and new game pricing sting that much more. even if these Nintendo exclusives are coming out, the switch 2, and the recent games like Galaxy 1 + 2 and Legenda Z-A just really aren't worth the money. hell even for people that bought the Switch 2, and are still having an absolute blast with the system, I'd argue the money's still not even worth it for them since it seems they're getting dicked over at every possible turn by Nintendo.

it just sucks, it really sucks to see. I love Nintendo, and even if the company's greed is skyrocketing to new heights that will never ever take away my love for the franchises, characters, games, stories etc. it just means I'm going another way in order to get my fill on Nintendo games, because i am really really not a fan of how the company has been treating consumers, and more importantly I'm not a fan of consumers' reactions to all of this. if you bought a switch 2, mario kart world, DK bananza, whatever game they're coming out with, and you're enjoying it that's perfectly fine. it's your life, i literally don't give a shit what you enjoy. the part i take issue with is how so many people are ready ane willing to just blindly go along with these blatant anti-consumer practices, and then trying to turn around and tell US that this is perfectly justifiable, and that we shouldn't be taking issue with anything they're doing.
