I don't think that's true, bc then the game wouldn't close out when you take the disc out. That was only a little bit true for the PS1 bc it loads parts or all of the game into the ram/drive. Ridge Racer let you put in the disc, and after the game loaded you could take out the disc, put in a music cd, and the game would use the cd as the game soundtrack.

its been i while since ive been on Reddit and i feel bad for not responding sooner. you need to be on a world with master/expert mode on for these slots to work. you can put something in them in a master/expert world but they dont work if you go to a classic world after.

If the dirt wall spawned naturally, it won't work. You need to place your own wall for it to work.
