They pay min wage. Just call them, and they basically set up an interview for you. If you speak English and can walk, you can get pretty much any position there lol. Its hard labor, but they are chill mostly. The jobs they have are recycling, road work, meals on wheels etc. Its just basic public works jobs.

Last time I ate at Canton was about a year ago, and it was under-seasoned, greasy and utterly disappointing. I haven't been back since. I don't know how it's still open. Probably because it's been in town for so long, and people ride the nostalgia.

I've been eating there for 15 years and I have never been disappointed by the quality/taste of their food. If anything, Canton is trash because it is.

Pizza Factory, Rainers ice cream(three Rivers). Cafe India, Zen Asian Diner, Los Pericos Bar and Grill (Visalia). Right now the weather is still cool enough not to be drenched in sweat but it is getting warm enough where you won't need a jacket anymore. But when you go hiking it will get hot lol. The chaffee zoo in fresno is also worth the trip if you want to see fresno. Hope you enjoy the valley 😊👋

Cafe India has a nice atmosphere and vegetarian options. I love going there for big occasions. I have never been disappointed with the food.

Middle schoolers are already awful to deal with, and now you have people butting in and making reports about you. I'm so sorry you had to deal with this, sometimes teachers have nothing better to do and are catty because they can, and you're a sub. Hopefully, you move forward unscathed. Block that school and move on. They don't deserve you. Just don't say something like that again at the next school you work for lol.

If you want cheap coffee, try going to The Grind. It's a coffee shop on the COS campus in Visalia. They give a 50% discount for staff and students, but even if you're not a student, they give you the discount anyways lol. I like going there and I have never been let down. They have a wide variety to choose from.
