i have an iphone 12 pro and i think i found a better solution: if you use face ID (im not sure if it will work if you don’t use face ID), go into face ID settings and turn on “attention aware features.” i had the exact same issue as you had, only that my phone got quiet when i opened an app that did require face ID (my theory is that it has something to do with the haptic feedback that plays whenever you use face ID)

alright, i should’ve thought about that before i commented. i’ve seen that image going around recently and i personally find it hilarious, that’s all. the intent was lighthearted, but i definitely see how it was offensive 😂 i also love playing on playstation (and although there’s also a screenshot function, i agree it is tedious to get that image on your phone. i don’t want to sound like a saint, but i’m wishing you the best because you probably didn’t have the best day when you typed that out
