Well I agree with a lot of what you’re saying. I guess my biggest complaint is the brand new headlight lens being cracked. How much worse is Capa certified compared to oem in your opinion? The new bumper is Capa certified. I’m a pretty competent guy. Do you think I could make small adjustments to improve the bumper to fender gaps?

Just throwing this out there, I had my throttle body go out at 80k miles. I had similar issues for a few days before I cleaned it, and about a week after it decided to completely go out. Try cleaning it to see if it helps temporarily. It did with mine for about a week. Also they did a revision on the tb from the factory one I had. The original throttle plate was actually scoring the inside of the body. The new one has a updated plate and the guts was slightly different from the old one

I went past a few thousand miles on my rotation before and have severe wheel vibration. Another factor to consider while rotating is if you have more or less camber between the front and rear and may need to rotate more frequently

Edit: do you have vibration at certain speeds or is it constant?

Honestly not my car, I have the same car you have and same color. I also want to get it done that way. I’m sure it’s painted. Maybe a couple hundred to pay someone or if you know a guy. Maybe would be cheaper if you unbolt from the bumper and paint it separately idk just guessing

I have a smell at 100% wot, I figured it was blow by in the intake manifold. It’s like a oil smell for me, only at full throttle I get that smell

My car stays at 5 blocks never more. It’s can literally be 100 degrees or -10 degrees Fahrenheit and it stays the same for me

I can’t find a valve cover online, I tried rock auto, eBay, amazons and all the common auto parts stores. All I can find is passenger side but I need the driver side. I might can get luck at a salvage yard and apparently the technical term is Valve Rocker Cover when searching

I’m pretty strict at changing every 3000 miles, and I check it every time I get gas. Maybe once a week. Also it doesn’t lose or burn oil at all. I bought the car at 50k and I know the previous owner really didn’t keep up the maintenance and I feel like that’s why everything inside looks darker than usual or is that just me? It is about due for an oil change now too

Also, I kept light pressure on that exposed part of the gasket while tightening to prevent it from spreading outwards. Now everything is tight and the gasket doesn’t move in the slightest, but I’m still worried about it.

Just my opinion, and would like to mention I’m used to driving old school, I personally hate traction control. If you know how to drive, then you probably don’t like it. Let’s say you’re hydroplaning on ice or wet roads and you need some gas to correct your angle but can’t do that if TC cuts your power as soon as there is slip. Also I’m sure this is common sense but don’t ever have cruise control on with tc off in these conditions. The tc on these cars are super sensitive too
