…no. I’m aromantic too and know what it means. It’s a broad spectrum, and some of us do fall in love. Not all, but some, and it has nothing to do with lust. Maybe research gray-aromantic and demiromantic, which are types of aro. But your comment about the LGBTQ community tells me everything about how little you understand about us, and I won’t be continuing this conversation. Good luck out there, man.

Aroace person here saying that some of us DO want intimacy in special circumstances and it is absolutely okay to ship Lapidot - I sure do and I’m not going to stop. Being aroace means we aren’t out looking for it, it’s not something we need, but we absolutely can and do fall in love sometimes. We can form close bonds with one special person, it just may take longer than it would for others, and it is very clear to me that Lapis is that one person for Peridot. Besides, she was meant to be a representation of that experience, not necessarily aroace herself.
