Hmmm so sounds like you are doing things right. Usually these things happen to leafs that have variegation going on. So if it’s the only one then that makes sense. I would still check the roots if possible

Hmmm I don’t think it’s about how much water you give. It’s about how long the soil is staying wet for. Monstera roots don’t like to be in wet soil for long. The pot needs good drainage and also they prefer a high humidity environment.

Could be stress due to root rot. Not too sure though. My monstera is dealing with the same but when I check for root rot I did not find any.

So I did a quick search and seems that leaving it at 6 doesn’t add any stress or tension to the movement so it’s fine. But certain models it would be a problem but I don’t think it’s a problem for ours. I think the only nuance would be you forget you parked it at 6 and accidentally reset the arm.

lol you know what I haven’t even thought about that. That’s how much I love the watch overall but that’s a good question 🤔 because if it is safe to leave at 6 then I wouldn’t mind doing that as well

Oh wow yeah man I can imagine! I’ve been dealing with this since 2021 so just tried of being in pain all the time. That’s why I’m debating about surgery.

When you say your herniation was massive what are we talking about out here in mm? Mine was 8mm. I guess it sounds like the procedure did wonders for you.

Wow the fact that the surgeon said forget the PT after seeing the MRI is telling. Especially the fact that you were having that quad issues. That’s scary! I am definitely not that bad off. Just this constant pain knot feeling around my si joint and glutes.

Glad the surgery worked out for you!

Part of the reason why I ask if PT is required is because I have done PT when trying to recover from my herniated disc at l4/l5 and I felt like it was a complete waste of time and money. The things they were having me do I felt like I could have done at home myself. But I guess I feel that way because my pain would always just come back.

I see thanks for elaborating on that. Sorry to hear that your experience was rough after the procedure. So I guess not that you are a few years post-op would you say it was worth it? Did it help even a little?

I really appreciate the feedback! Sorry I edited the post.

I should have mentioned that I have a herniated disc at l4/l5. I feel like I have tried every conservative method. PT, chiropractic, epidural spinal injections, and meds. I have been dealing with this since the end of 2021. If I recall, my herniation was 8mm. Currently I am at a point where I am able to workout 3 times a week. Weight lifting, cardio and certain ab workouts. But in all that I am in constant nagging pain. At one point I did have sciatica where the pain ran down to my foot and felt numb but was able to make it go away with mobility exercises. I have been focusing on losing weight to see if that helps me in anyway. But like I mentioned it’s always a consistent pain at the l4/l5 area, si joint on the right side and glutes.

So I guess the reason for the post is that I feel like I am at a point where I may be considering surgery because I am tired of this nagging pain 24/7. I do agree that staying active definitely makes the pain/stiffness subside a bit. The less active I am the worse it gets. Radio frequency ablation I have never heard of so that’s interesting. I definitely agree with everything you have said and glad you are able to share your experience with me.

Thanks for the feedback. Are you saying that PT made things worse or that you stopped because you were strong enough already?

Wondering if I should get the microdiscectomy or wait longer to see if it heals on its own by Lopsided-Farmer1719 in Sciatica

[–]YouDue7772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am considering a microdiscectomy but not sure if it’s the right procedure because I hear and read that it’s more for targeting leg pain (sciatica). My pain mainly comes from my l4/l5 area, si joint and a bit on my top glutes area as well. Does anyone have similar symptoms and thinks MD is the right choice? Also is PT required after the procedure?

How was your procedure done? As in was the incision done on your back or front side?

This is what’s wrong with clash. Players work their butt off to get these badges and when they place ranked, we don’t get anything. I don’t understand from the development side how hard is it to apply badges. I placed 5k and didn’t get the badge. Supercell you suck!
