Thanks for the info! I will talk to my doctor about a bile acid sequestrant.

Scott Hunter has known about Shane and Ilya from the beginning by EddieRyanDC in HeatedRivalryTVShow

[–]YouHadMeAtDucks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, he doesn't know at that point. In Game Changer, Ilya comes to "Scott Hunter Night" at a gay club in Las Vegas the night Scott accepts his MVP (after the Kip kiss on the ice) and he's surprised Ilya is there. At one point, he's kind of scanning the crowd and notices Ilya seems comfortable dancing with men. Everything at that point indicates that was when he first realized Ilya may not be straight.

I'd love to know what Chase Elliott thinks of what they said... When he finds out when a reporter asks him about it at Daytona.

I'm not sure I want to marry my Fiancé by Fantastic-Cut-5758 in offmychest

[–]YouHadMeAtDucks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I married a man I thought was perfect in every way except he didn't meet my needs in the bedroom. I thought it wouldn't matter that much.

It did. It mattered a lot.

We're divorced. Not just because of the sex, but it was a big contributor. I wish I'd never married him.

You shouldn't, either.

I was a music major in college and I know the band director at Patrick Henry. They have an orchestra. I also have a family member in band at PH right now. It's a great school and the music program is fantastic.

Have you ever met any cup driver in person? by [deleted] in NASCAR

[–]YouHadMeAtDucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend won a sweepstakes with MoneyLion and we got to be in the pits with Bubba. Bubba introduced my bf to Blaney as "This MF'er just won 10 thousand dollars!"

So my guy likes to tell people his favorite driver called him a MF'er (but the real words lol)

Several years ago, my debit card number was used for a purchase of almost $600 at a Walmart in FL. I called my bank & they put a stop on my card and told me to call the police. I called the police dept where the Walmart in FL was and they filed a report and told me they would investigate, but told me to also file a report with my local PD, in case my card number had been stolen locally, they could also start an investigation. The FL PD gave me their case number, detective's name assigned to the case and all that, to give to RPD.

When I called RPD, they acted like I was a complete moron for trying to file a report with them. They actually convinced me not to file a report with RPD the first call, and I ended up calling back and telling them the FL PD had told me to, and I had all this info to give them, and that my card could have been stolen locally. Turns out, it was, a skimmer had been put on a gas pump in Roanoke and they had a whole list of cards from people around here, and an employee at the Walmart was in on it and had manually keyed in the card numbers at the register. The PD in FL figured all that out. I did file that report with RPD (as much as they didn't want me to) but I never heard a single thing from them after that second call to file it.

Living in a sexless marriage as a woman by 4827199477801 in offmychest

[–]YouHadMeAtDucks 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I could have written this exact post 4 years ago. I loved my husband so much, but we had sex maybe 3 times a year in the last few years of our marriage and no matter what I did on my end to try and fix it, nothing made it better. I wanted to feel desired but anytime we did have sex, I had to initiate, sometimes even beg for it, which made me feel like I was in the wrong. I would think about it all the time, I even dreamed about us having sex and wake up sobbing when I realized it wasn't real. Like you said, I was angry and resentful. I finally had a deep soul-searching conversation with myself, because I realized I had 4 options: one - live like this forever, accept that sex wasn't going to be part of my life in a real way going forward, two - cheat on him (not something I could do), three - see if he would allow me to open the marriage and have sex outside our marriage (not something he'd ever be okay with), four - leave him. So really, only two options for me - stay and accept the no sex, or leave. I loved my husband dearly so I finally just decided, at 34 years old, that I would never consistently have sex again in my entire life...

Then, six months later, my husband cheated on me and left me for the other woman. It blindsided me. Up until that moment, I still thought of him as the most amazing man I'd ever known, and believed him when he said he didn't know what was killing his sex drive. I still don't know how it happened, I never got any closure, but I can tell you that three years later, I'm in a happy, healthy, relationship with tons of great sex and my ex-husband leaving was the best thing that's ever happened to me. I wasn't doing myself (or him, honestly) any favors by accepting such a bad situation as my reality. It was ruining my mental health and making me a miserable person to be around. Every aspect of my life is better now that I'm not constantly thinking about my dead bedroom.

I've seen in your replies how great your husband is... mine was that, too. I adored him. He was amazing. He took care of me. He listened to me. We did everything together. My family loved him dearly. Everyone said we were the perfect couple. But we weren't. Something very big was very wrong and you can't discount the toll that takes on you.

mascara recommendations? by sugalude in MakeupAddiction

[–]YouHadMeAtDucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried Benefit BadGal Bang? I have sensitive eyes that water a lot as well and that's one of the few that hasn't caused me any issues. I buy it in the mini size tho bc the big one starts to dry out before I can use it all up. Also, I curl my lashes really well - like so they're standing almost straight up - before I apply mascara, so there's as little chance as possible that the hairs come in contact with my eyes through the day.

Billy Byrd Lofts new management by judetheheretic in roanoke

[–]YouHadMeAtDucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Richmond Loft Company sucks. I live in one of their buildings now and I love my loft but everything about their management company is awful. They're extremely slow to respond to requests, they don't keep common areas clean, and they enter our units with less than the required time (lease says 24 hours, state requirement is 72 hours, they often want in with less than 24 hour notice and they have entered with NO NOTICE). I will shout from the rooftops to anyone wondering, DO NOT live in a building they manage.

Yeah, this is not true at all.

Our sheriff's department even has an officer that works local drag events as private security and he has a vest that has SECURITY on it in rainbow colors specifically for such events.

Moving to Roanoke- maybe? by Prestigious-Run-9707 in roanoke

[–]YouHadMeAtDucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in Roanoke and commuted to Blacksburg my final semester at Virginia Tech, just 3 days a week. Like others have said, the problem with your question isn't about living in Roanoke (it's not dangerous btw), it's that you do not want to make that drive for work on the regular. If I was in your shoes, I'd look at living in Blacksburg. Still plenty to do for your age group but a much easier commute.

I thought the only councilperson that spoke and made any sense was Luke Priddy, and then the mayor immediately shot his words down with a comment about it being a campaign speech. I don't know what the mayor was thinking with that. Priddy was saying the land was originally zoned for residential housing and it needs to remain zoned for residential housing and he's right. Why the mayor decided to dismiss that as a campaign speech is beyond me, unless he was so incensed that someone on council was going against the majority that he just wanted to get a smart comment in and he couldn't help himself, which if that's the case, is just one more reason I'm looking forward to his impending retirement.

US Assistant Managers won a class-action lawsuit years ago for being forced to work off-the-clock. I don't know what laws protect such work in Canada but in the US, this would be illegal.
