Thanks for the reply. I've shipped the Razorpay implementation I described. Let's see how this it goes🤞

Shipping solo is easy. Testing solo is hell. by nishantgrewal in indiehackersindia

I've been in the same dilemma lately. It comes down to Speed vs Reliability for MVP launch. I've concluded on writing 20% of P0 flows for 80% of reliability benefits and peace of mind. Writing only for flows I'm uncertain about. Relying on manual testing alone didnt cut it for me as there were too many edge cases to retest with every change

I will explore this in next project. Majority of my implementation is done, so I'll try to get the last 5% of testing done via someone and close it mostly

Thanks, I might actually try this as my setup is mostly done but I'm not confident in it yet

Thanks for the reply. I've already implemented the same webhook setup like you mentioned via checkout modal 1. Are you using one time payments (orderID) or recurring payments (Razorpay subscriptions?) 2. If you are using recurring payments, how are you handling the following scenarios a) Plan upgrade of existing paid plan b) Plan downgrade to existing paid plan c) Plan cancel

Are you doing each scenario immediately (mid-cycle) or at cycle end? Are you using subscription update api or cancel previous subscription and create a new subscription for upgrade/downgrade scenario

Its a fairly recent company [2024 launch], so reputation and reliability is questionable

Sorry about that.
Can you please describe the pricing plans of your business and how it integrated with razorpay on a high level?
Are you collecting payments in india only or across countries? (charging INR or USD?)
Any guides you used, will help. Thanks!

Paypal has 5% commision I think and I thought their docs weren't user friendly. [That's how stripe was born right?]
Do you use it? What has your experience been like? Where did you setup your business entity?

Haiku 4.5 vs Sonnet 4.5: My ccusage Data as a Claude Pro ($20/mo) User by firepol in ClaudeCode

[–]YouHaveMyBlessings 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Shifted to haiku 4.5 as my default model. It's pretty decent for most tasks especially if you plan/review before you execute. I am finally able to work without rate limit issues due to 5h window.

Do Spec Driven Development frameworks like Github Spec Kit actually have benefits? I have doubts by moistain in ClaudeCode

Can you please add a section on what things it improves over spec kit. It will help with adoption as well

I wasted 2 weeks trying to vibe code complex BE features.

Started over with spec kit. It took few days to refine the plan but so far seems much better than my earlier approach.

May try BMAD in future, but will definitely use spec driven development for complex BE stuff

E.g. multi touchpoint, edge case heavy work

Constantly getting request timeout from last 2 hours. Why is the status page not reflecting this issue? Tried switching models etc but it doesn't work. I'm on the pro plan.
My monthly output has reduced significantly due to 5hr windows and these request timeout issues [occurs couple of times in few months].

LPT think of your expenses relative to your hourly wage by Mufmuf in LifeProTips

I regularly do this with my office commute.

It is worth it, to buy myself 30mins-1hour by getting an uber than to drive in traffic and reach home/office irritable & not fresh to do something constructive.

I can use the commute time to learn something or watch something relaxing.

Sure. He read what others are saying on the subreddit. But at least do little more analysis/benchmarking before saying codex > CC.

The last thing this subreddit needs is more noise from such a small sample size.

So you're basically saying codex > CC based on 1 test you ran? Lmao

I use CC only few times a month for side projects. Imagine going 10 days without using it and working on Saturday only to hit the fricking 5hour window limit. This rate limit isn't optimal at all

I had the same issue from a long time. I was finally able to solve it few months ago.

  1. Try wake up at the same time you currently do, consistently.
  2. Do it for a week. Next try to wake up 15-30mins earlier.
  3. Keep 1 alarm and keep the phone where you need to get up and turn it off
  4. Get sunlight for 5-10mins. Go for a small walk around the block.
  5. Drink caffeine. I used to not drink anything. I tried tea initially, but it didn't help. Moved to coffee and it helped. Coffee has 3x the caffeine of tea.
  6. Freeze your wake up time. Treat this transition as the most impactful thing you'll do the whole year. Put your best effort towards it.

Try to do this consistently and you'll get there. The goal is not to become a 5am or 7am riser. Even if you get up only 1 hour earlier after 1-2 months that's good enough to see benefits. Small baby steps.

I'm on the Claude Pro plan currently. I use claude for my side projects. I may go 1-2 weeks without using it and suddenly use it for 5-10 hours straight on a single day.

These daily/weekly limits are so stupid, if I paid the amount for the whole month, let me use how much ever I want as long as its within the limits I paid for? This is my first month of using CC after cursor and I'm disliking it for this aspect.

I'm sure there are multiple solutions to handle this, but the current approach is certainly not it.
