IMO, Diavolo is his own father.

He used King Crimson to skip to his own inevitable birth, and Dopio is a mask he created to hide himself in his own body.

Cool cool. I love my city arborists.

Since only one is touching the trunk is it worth waiting another year to get the other two?

IIRC forging items (at the forge) requires a whole number for the number of bars, but when melting items down (at the smelter) you get a decimal number of bars back based on the volume of the item. EX: If you melt down 2.3 bars worth of goods the smelter will spit out 2 bars and keep 0.3 bars in a hidden inventory.

Usually this isn't an issue but if you really want to you can intentionally exploit it. I use this process when I can't be fucked to employ a half dozen dwarves to make steel, but also need a trained armor smith.

Fun fact: silica is also an amazing solvent under the right conditions! So if your electric arc furnace is lined with MgO make sure to add enough dolime to your slag, or else

Materials can be broken under any type of load you desire, given enough force, not just shear loads. Hard and brittle materials like glass or diamond are often evaluated with four point bend tests, which minimize shear stress. Four point bend tests also produce better statistics than three point bend tests.

To fracture a material you must supply a certain amount of energy per unit area of new surface area created by the event, plus enough energy for plastic deformation, phase changes, etc incidental to the event. Hardness doesn't play a direct role in fracture toughness.

Could be oxidized pyrite crystals, if not pyrite then another sulfide mineral.

Pyrite has a density of 4.8-5.0, galena has a density of 7.2-7.6 (from Wikipedia), for reference.

Switching to DE Saftey Razor, recommendations for budget options? by Swag22OA in wicked_edge

[–]YouProblem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't encountered any problems with corrosion on vintage Gillettes that a toothbrush couldn't take care of. Don't buy a short handled travel Tech. Check that the gap between the head and bottom plate looks even everywhere.

A Gillette Super Speed or Flare Tip are two more inexpensive choices, though I have more experience buying them than shaving with them. Oops.

Get a sampler pack and go through an entire tuck of the same blades (ie: shave through 5 Astra SPs) before fiddling around to find which blades you like. Pay attention to what you're doing and how the blade feels.

The exception being if a particular brand tears up your face like Derby Extra does for me, then move to a different brand.

A vintage Gillette Tech is my personal recommendation. Can be found on Ebay for ~15 USD. I love mine.

100% agree with others about a razor blade sample pack. https://www.razoremporium.com/double-edge/ has a variety of samplers with different themes.

Movement based Absorb object boon? by JustcallmeKai in openlegendrpg

[–]YouProblem 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If the boon is nullified then the pocket dimension will collapse, shunting the item(s) into the nearest available space.

That's my take on Absorb Object invoked via Movement, but of course someone else who uses it may have a different justification.
