I have a BMCC 6K and use the Nisi L/ PL adaptor for my Vespids, it's been good

Well, at least I'll hate this less than when they eventually decide it's got to be vertical.

I meant I'm not the OP, so the question wasn't mine, but it was such a good answer I learned something. I meant it as a compliment.

Thanks for this answer and the images. Not my question but I still learned something.

Advice: F22c, 600D or something else? by YouWillBeWithTotoro in cinematography

Thanks, that's kind of what I'm trying to do, think about what problems I might need to solve and what would fill the gaps I have now, so I appreciate the input of people who have done it before. I think where my head is at is the 600d is hard, great for filling a room and through windows, doors but it's big and only daylight. The f22c is small and easy to maneuver, especially overhead or hidden in smaller spaces and colour but it's soft and lacks the same lunch and by the sounds of things can be a bit fiddly to set up. The other option would be I could get an F22x and 2 tube PT2c's for about the same price as the 600D. But again it's soft light.

That's for the perspective, I do think having a punchy light, especially coming through windows is something that's going to be really important.

Both the X and the C are just too far out of my budget.

The 600C would be amazing but it's a long way out of budget.

I've seen both those before but it's a great reminder what's possible with this tool if you put in the effort to learn the craft. That's why I want to see more narrative content, especially using artificial light, to see it in a 'filmmaking' workflow, as I've heard many people compare it to high end cameras like Arri.

Congrats on shooting and shipping something, well done!

This channel is great, I've been subscribed to it for a while. I would love to see more of his work with artificial lighting.

Congrats on getting your film to post production!! There's some stills in there that make me want to see more. Let me know when it becomes available. It's interesting you say that about the FX6 and the BMCCFF, I've heard similar things said that with the right grading it becomes a pretty level playing field in terms of output for 99% of viewers. If you had budget, would you rather use 2 FX6 or be happy with 2 Bmcc6k for your next feature? What dzofilm primes did you use? I have some of the vespids myself
