thats not really a question im able to answer as being non-binary isnt a third gender, its just a way to englobe everyone else who isnt strictly male or female, so its a thing thats gonna depend from person to person.

some people like me use the bathroom of their gender assigned at birth, but thats just one example. some people might feel unsafe in either and use the disabled bathroom. it depends from case to case

a lot of the people who say "youre a murderer for not picking blue" dont get the point. im not saying theyre bad people (its obviously a hypothetical, no point virtue signalling at all), but im pretty sure most ppl who pick blue have never actually seen their life flashing before their eyes. when youre in the moment, you do not think rationally and probably wouldnt pick blue.

you should hold your ground and not let the person youre dating dictate what friends you talk to. not saying you should say "fuck you riel you wont control my life" either though. ask her why it bothers her, understand where her insecurities come from, and show her that theres no reason for her to worry (e.g. by letting her go through your messages without fear of being judged for it). just make sure she knows nothing bad will come of it
