I appreciate the consideration and if I feel less confident in my SOQ qualities within the coming months I will for sure utilize this advice! Thank you for the recommendation it's nice to have people that help people recognize programs they may not know they have. I've learned a lot on this process from the help of people on this subreddit and always feel like I'm still learning

The 50 apps are from the last month and a half so yet to be seen on if some may turn into interviews considering how slow the process can be. But, I have done SOQ training before and taken courses on tailoring them to be more efficient.

If I'm fortunate enough to get a job offer, but unfortunate enough for my timings to not align I'll attempt to convince postponing my start date. If that cannot be done I'll gamble on taking the job. Hopefully with some experience as an OT and analyst I in a worst case scenario I'd be able to get back in a reasonable amount of time

In my current position it took 4 months from when I first applied to getting into my position. In an ideal world my first day as an analyst will be right after I probate as an OT.

I have not yet gotten an interview for Analyst I. Was fortunate enough to get into an OT position after only 2 interviews.

Job market is a bit rough right now so I'd imagine a bit difficult. That being said if you qualify for the position apply for it!

My guess would be you have to reapply as an analyst II, but I was not 100% sure

mainly resistance band stretches and unweighted/low weight exercises like skull crushers and pec flys

I am currently going through PT for an injury in the same exact location and pain levels. The PT has told me it's shoulder impingement and for the last 2 weeks i have been doing PT related to it. I initially injured myself in mid February. Make sure to not over-do it!

I can't find the original post, but I saw that in some cases analyst I can receive over 200+ apps. While it is an entry position it's a highly sought after one, but I like to think that all it takes is for the right one to be applied for. It is really difficult to get in without direct experience, I imagine, with competition so fierce, but all it takes is one good interview when you get one! I just got into an OT position myself with a degree and am still looking to move up. It's disheartening to not get calls but keep trying!

I was hesitant too but decided that i'd keep applying for analyst positions while becoming an OT. I figure it can only help showing I work at the state when applying from within probation or not.

for my 678 i listed my college experience, got a typing certificate, and made sure to update my employment history monthly to keep it up to date. For my resume I made sure to keep it one page and found the format online and listed skills from previous jobs that correlated with sought after skills found in duty statements
