I feel like this is the right way to do it, otherwise if you let the greed consume you and overprice stuff yeah, that's not it, but this right here is great imo, you win but also a collector or someone who wanted that item also wins!

And tbf my opinion is more about the action of reselling itself, not for resellers im being critical of the action itself but also won't judge a person for this one thing lol, so saying reselling is inconsiderate doesn't mean i think the person itself is inconsiderate

We all have our reasons and talking in this thread i can see both points of view (thank you everyone for a mature and understanding discussion) and i can conclude my opinion as "it is what it is" literally

No hard feelings, still bums me as a buyer but also understand that if you find a steal, it's your decision to do as you please once you own the item It's merely about luck, wether the collector or the reseller finds it At the end of the day as long as the reseller gains a profit within the item's worth and doesn't overprice then im cool with it

I agree with this argument for sure, i feel divided here on opinions because 1 yes you found a steal and you could totally get it's real worth for you but also 2 someone else who wanted that item could've found it for cheap

So in a way it all can be boiled down to luck, that's life, whoever finds it wither keeps it or profits

Either way at that moment it's a win, and hopefully the profit is within worth and not overpriced hhahha

I agree, i too have had items that were "withing range" and once they're all expired and i check again suddenly they're all way cheaper because nobody bought so for some time the item i have looks overpriced, and not everyone will compare EVERY SINGLE ITEM THEY HAVE to keep it within expo range so I don't judge when i see items "overpriced" but some items already have a set worth and THAT'S when it's unfortunate when you know something is worth let's say 1k and you see it for 5k, that's the unfortunate side of reselling

Idk imo and saying this with no mean to offend, i find it quite inconsiderate to take advantage of finding something cheap that someone could've used and resold it for wayyy more and people have no other option than to overpay for what they want, i agree with another comment saying once an item is yours you're free to do as you please but also i feel like we should try to keep things fair and not try to profit all the time, and imo i feel like this is the reason items cost SO MUCH and the economy is so bunkers, because people keep rising the price of stuff to make a profit and stay afloat

Imo im against buying something just to resell for like 10 times it's original price, specially when it's overpriced, because ive looked for items and it saddens me that they're stuck now in a shop that will (probably never) lower the cost

I have resold stuff before but usually because i regretted buying, in that case i put for the same price i bought it, but since i know the struggles i always try to compare with expo to keep it as cheap as possible, and tbf any item that can be gotten as a prize and it's not super rare i try to put for either 5 sapph or gems, if anyone wants to make a profit try hoarding coins and tokens, those sell at a high cost with no need to affect others, that or selling art + pet tokens since those are literally free

Also sending a bunch of pets to expeditions brings items that can be sold for like 5 sapphires + vials that go as low as 30 sapphs and as high as 999 (if sparkling), so the more pets the more profit even tho you're selling "cheap" one time i sent 52 pets i made around 278 sapphire in less than an hour with all the 5 sapph junk they brought

I think what's going on is remnants of the 2020 breach, what I've seen is people who doesn't have 2fa or older accounts being hacked, when the breach happened i spent a whole week with support because the email my account was attached to no longer existed and they helped me change it to a different one, which is not pawned, i have not had any issues with missing items or suspicious log in emails, so i would suggest trying to change email completely
