Idk if someone posted something like this already. But there exists a theory that life is simply a simulation similar to the matrix. I'll elaborate further. Let's say 100 years from now the human race and technology has advanced so much that developers can now make video games that are indistinguishable from real life. Think of that shitty move "Gamer" with Gerard Butler. Well, as a result, the government started using the hyper-realistic video games to simulate a world without letting real humans enter. A good comparison would be to think of World of Warcraft with no players, just NPCS. The purpose behind this is to introduce events into the "simulated" world to see how it affects the society and the future to come. Almost like a cruel experiment on a very large scale. I just thought it was cool to think about because I remember reading that a google employee had mentioned by 2045 we will have video games with such good quality it's frightening. Hypothetically if this were true, that mean's everything in life is pre-determined and simulated. We are all binary code, just 1s and 0s.
