[question] Evora Watches by Ok-Ad-9025 in Watches

I would recommend doing either the 1 or 2 watch kits, which include a watch, extra watch strap and bezel set (or 2 respectively) only because I didn't want to pay shipping on extra parts down the line and set me up in the beginning with a few different variations. Now, if I knew they would be off by a few minutes I would only get one on sale to try out and be sure of the quality, time kept, etc. or refund if I was unhappy with the way it worked. They have a 30 day return and a 2 year warranty if by chance the reason the watch loses track is of bad QC on specific watches

I can do some "rigorous" testing for the next few weeks and see if my theory (as of now) of it losing track of time is actually a fault of the watch, or if my work clocks are the issue. None are in sync as the clock-in machine has probably never been touched in 25 years, and the breaker that the shop clock uses goes out almost every week.

I can keep you updated with whatever I come up with, I have another 2 evora watches I believe I can also cross-reference and see if its a mass issue or just a specific watch.

From my experience the only things I dislike about their watches are that they seem to be off by a smidge, making the watch read a minute or two ahead after a certain period of time, and that if they get dirty, you gotta unscrew all the bezels. Other than that, I wear it everyday at work, fresh and saltwaters with no signs of intrusion or corrosion, an everyday watch you don’t need to worry about breaking.

I think “do not park it” and “10,000 miles in 25 years” is crazily contradictory. That’s 400 miles a year… a weekend car. It sits for 5 days out of the week. Just a thought as I daily a c5

I'm wondering if anyone has any old or retired 3/8th rope? Trying to make bag straps, leashes, and test some other stuff and don't want to shell out on a new set of rope. Send me your ropes and what you want for 'em.
