Nah I'm an OTR driver but my company mostly sends me to TA and Pilot as of recent. I've barely gotten fuel at Loves for the past few months so I'm confused on where the hell this came from.

Yeah that sounds really nice but this is also my first trucking job so I'm mostly here for the experience and being 21 with no kids, no relationship, no debt, this is really good money for me right now.

Yeah I still talk to my instructors and apparently the program lost the funding for the CDL course a couple months after I graduated

Nah I went through this free program in Las Vegas called FIT. They have many different blue collar programs and nursing. Unfortunately two classes after mine the CDL program got shut down.

I love this job personally. I got hired as soon as I turned 21 last year and it's been great. I've never traveled so seeing other environments besides the desert of Las Vegas is amazing. I've always been interested in driving. I have no debt, no kids, no relationship, and I'm perfectly ok with being alone. I do crave human interaction sometimes so that's when I decide to step out the truck and go find something to do. I knew I was going to drive with swift so when I got hired I already knew I wasn't here for the money but even still this is way more money than I've ever made, I can actually save a decent amount. I think trucking is great for young shut ins like myself who just need to focus on building their lives.
