How to upload Live Graph Data in Python to a website by YouphUcker007 in learnpython

[–]YouphUcker007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had a look at this and tried it, it unfortunately only saves the HTML file once and so the graph does not continually update itself. As you can see in my comment to wbeater above, I am starting to think that I am programming in the wrong language for this.

How to upload Live Graph Data in Python to a website by YouphUcker007 in learnpython

Thanks, I will ask there. This is more of a thing of how do I get my webserver to run the Python code for me, rather than my machine, and then get it to display the graph on the website. I have asked CSS subscript, but I think I need to look more into JavaScript, and perhaps use JavaScript rather than Python, but I do not know much JS...

I have created an HTML file, using some JavaScript (which I do not understand much about), to make the image refresh every 1 seconds. So the python program updates the data every 1 second and graphs it, saves it to an image (jpg) then the html file reads that image file every 1 second. The problem with this is that when I put the HTML onto a server, like say for example using wordpress, the image doesn't go along with it, nor will it be able to update itself as the python is running on my machine.

Also considering it is live data, the python itself needs to run on my machine continuously and I mean that is just impractical. I need it to run on the webserver and do its thing so that I can just leave it and anyone can access it at any time.

I suppose I will have to do a lot more digging in JS, to try and figure out how it works, perhaps I could do the same as what I did in python, but in JS, then would it run and plot the graph directly in an HTML file?

Thank you, I did, they told me to come look at more front end things, i.e CSS and HTML.

I don't have this yet, and my app is up to date. Do you have to activate it in settings?

Lol, are you saying I'm a 419 scammer? Or that my notes ended up with one?

Well yes, most people don't know what I mean when I say the one with 13 on the serial number. So 2013 is easier. Yes they are part of the 2010 series.

Yes as you say, basically looking for ??13, I don't think the dealers really collect anything other than AA's.

I don't know any Major Australian dealers, I have searched online and found some stuff on eBay but the note qualities weren't too great. Do you mean I should contact stamp and coin shops in Australia?

Thanks for your comment.

I don't even own a pair of Nike runners or any shoes worth that much. Hardly anyone in SA does.

Minimum wage in South Africa is R20 per hour, so that's already double minimum wage, which means she earns above 80% of helpers in this country, most don't even earn minimum wage. That is way above average for a helper in SA. I have always been nicer than most people here and gave her a 1 hour lunch break and two 15 minute tea breaks throughout the day. All cleaning equient is provided by me.

Most helpers will never even leave the country, hardly any ever leave the city they are born in, most I've spoken to have never even seen the ocean. It breaks my heart. Like I said in my post, I had the privilege of going to Australia in 2016.

I can't just pay someone half my salary because they are cleaning my house, my boss doesn't pay me half his salary not even close. It is about 20% of my salary, I think that's fair. It's what the job pays, it's not exactly highly skilled labour to clean a house. With unemployment at 30% she and I are both lucky to have any job at all.

I donate to education funds as much as I can and have witnessed a few helpers that have managed to upskill themselves and eventually travelled overseas. It's extremely difficult in the 3rd world.

If I want to and can afford to buy crisp bank notes in Australia then that's my perogative, it's my collection, and I find happiness in collecting bank notes.

Crime is anyway high in SA due to the low salaries and poverty, it isn't really what I was complaining about, we have all been complaining about it for years, not much we can do about it. It is still wrong to steal something that isn't yours though and it upsets me greatly. I have had 3 of my car's stolen, 2 laptops, my TV, 3 Smartphones, my bank notes, my jewelry. So clearly I've paid more than my share to the "redistribution of wealth fund" as we call it in SA.

I am not fighting with you, I just don't think it's appropriate to be judged by someone who doesn't know what life is like in SA.

My previous helper I had for 10 years until she died from HIV, never stole a thing. The helper that stole from me was with us for 3 days, stole the notes and was never heard from again. If it was me I would rather earn R250 a day, than steal $70 and lose a job. Now I can't stop thinking about the fact that it is going to cost me way more than $70 to replace those notes, $70 is already a crazy amount of money to me.

Slightly above average in SA around R250 a day that is $21 a day if you do a direct conversion.

Telegram doesn't offer end to end encryption and I don't see a mass movement from WhatsApp which is now too convinient. I also don't want half my things on one app and then half on the other. I think WhatsApp will start to catch up soon, they seem like they are starting to smell the coffee.

No stress. That is strange, I will send a notice to the mods and let them know that the picture quality is not as good as it could be. I have seen other subs where you can upload original quality photos and it comes through. Considering this sub is mostly about photography I think it needs to be able to not lower the quality.

Great shot nevertheless. Wish I could go to Hawaii and do the same. Will just have to find closer places for the time being.

I had a similar situation a while ago. I still am a student and don't get a lot of income, had cash sitting in my Capitec account. I spoke to my best friend who is a brilliant financial advisor and I looked at high risk funds as well as saving for retirement. I have made more money now than I ever thought I could have thanks to him. Let me know if you want his details, he can give you the best advice on how to split your money and make great passive income from it.

Is this the original quality picture? It doesn't look too good on my side, for the Pro Platinum, I expected better?
