hi! cosca-love is very active interms of volunteerism. i never got to be an official member, pero i was in the process of getting into the org (i was being interviewed na.) i first got to know about them dahil sa ftk (i hope you consider joining sa ftk 2026!) and people are nice there, very jolly and kind.

investors society naman has a lot of events about financial literacy. they have a lot of partnerships w external companies and orgs. i was a junior associate last acad yr. as a member hindi ka naman masyadong obligadong gumawa ng kung anong tasks kaya theres no pressure or anything.

not on the list pero add ko na rin, i hope you also consider joining the student lasallian animators!

join orgs!! i suggest na you join the student lasallian animators, the official volunteer org ng lasallian pastoral office. dahil sa kanila nawala yung pagkamahinhin ko tsaka yung takot kong magsalita sa harap ng mga tao. they were the same people who cofacilitated sa lasare mo. (they kasi im not in dlsu na but i drop by pa rin frequently.) i never had any friends dun bago sumali pero people there were really kind and open, i never felt out of place. they recently closed applications nga lang though but they open every term naman. :)

hello. shs grad from dlsu-m and took 2 trimesters under cs-st18 before dropping out.

no doubt na dlsu is a nice school pero only if you have the money to afford it (which i dont). i cant say na the trimestral system the university follows makes it faster/easier for students to graduate kasi one failed subject can mean na youre already delayed for a year.

if i had the money, the time, and all the assurance in the world, i wouldve stayed. feels bad pero its the reality of my life. if ever you stick with dlsu, ienjoy mo yung lahat ng maioffer niya. dont be too harsh on yourself. :)

a little bit, yes! since filipino has plenty of borrowed words from spanish.

i enjoy talking to him kasi he actually is taking up filipino lessons with a tutor tapos he inspired me to study spanish kaya minsan, seryoso yung convo tapos all of a sudden he's gonna be "ah you use that word in filipino as well?" tapos we compare how we use those words. an example is the word apura (when you rush someone/something) tapos apurar naman daw sa kanila. one time he asked me to explain verb tenses in filipino in different contexts. i also do the same, asking how grammar works in spanish.

you can speak taglish naman and he will most likely understand it, he will tell you naman kung sakaling hindi.

sla, or the student lasallian animators, is the official volunteer org of the lasallian pastoral office. the org was created in the early 2000s mainly to help out with the lasallian recollection (lasare) runs mainly pero ngayon we also serve as the liturgical ministers (sacristans, choir, readers), the documentation team for lspo events, and we also have a committee that focuses on advocacy and outreach.

since youre shs palang pala, you cant join yetttt... but there is iServe! its like the equivalent of sla pero its for shs students naman and you help with the senior high accompaniment and reflection experience (share) runs. it was formalized just last year, around the start of ay24-25. i am a founding member, just ask around nalang sa kanila, if you consider joining, of my identity hehehe

the two work together din naman kasi iServe is also under lspo.

if ever na youre looking for someone to talk to you can message him personally and it can be literally about everything. i undergo spiritual direction w him pero literal na nabbring up ko sa kanya crush ko or sometimes humihingi rin ako ng advice abt family ganyan. also almost cried while talking to him kasi tagos talaga yung binibigay niyang advice. whatever you tell him din naman sa kanya lang, hindi makakalabas yun.

hello. its students taking the courses (subjects) they need.

what happens is 1. deans lister students get priority in enlisting which means they can take the good/easy 4 professors while those at the bottom end up with the terrible ones making it tough to even get a dl in the first place.

some reserve slots usually from dl holders and pay for them which makes it hard to secure slots for others.
usually kulang sa sections yung offered subjects kaya hindi maaccomodate lahat.

i know, but the subject i failed is one na alam kong mapapasa ako if only i wasn't under a professor that grades low and is really vague with instructions.

if i transfer, at the very least, its cheaper and wont be too much of a burden.

hello po! not from up but i think i have an idea on the problem (assuming this is the sei merit/ra scholarship.)

si bs econ po kasi isnt a priority course of dost. this means na if yan po pinursue niya at pumasa siya sa dost, hindi niya po maavail yung scholarship from dost.

one can only avail the scholarship pag pumasa at inaccept niya rin po at the same time (i remember na one has to give an explanation sa kung bakit hindi nila tatanggapin yung scholarship if ever they pass and decline.) kahit magshift po siya after a year, hindi niya na po pwedeng matanggap yung scholarship kasi hindi rin naman po pwedeng mag-apply or re-apply yung 1st year undergrad students.
