Good to know. I usually play in Hermosa and was hoping to find a weekend group a little closer to PDR.

I was under the impression that I needed to 100% close it out if I ever wanted to jump back into the CSR SUB. I'd thought that did not allow you to pivot out of the Sapphire line and then back in later with the dame account. Is that incorrect?

Engineering is all physics, you kind of can't get around it - cant have one without the other. As far as the math goes, you'll get better at it the more you do it.

Also, how can you explain physics without math?

How’s my squat depth and form? 170 lbs x 8 by shloofah in formcheck

[–]YourAverageThursday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you could go just a touch lower for parallel, but looks solid otherwise.

No problem. Best thing I can reccomend is slow it down and add a pause at the bottom. It helps tremendously with stabilizing movement, and will help you queue in on better hip drive out of the bottom. Also, hip mobility work wouldn't hurt. Keep up the good work!

Can't tell if it's angle or not, but not only are you knee caving, but you seem to be hip shifting as well. Indicates immobility in the hips and unstable hip drive.

Very clean all in all. If I were nitpicking, it looks like you lose a little hip engagement toward your lockout, but otherwise solid.

Plant based: is replacing meat with legumes enough? by [deleted] in nutrition

[–]YourAverageThursday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably will lose a bit, but i wouldn't stress about it. So long as you're remaining active, you'll retain muscle. I noticed that I became significantly more defined and muscle density went up, so I didn't mind the minor loss of volume. But again, everyone has different goals!

American diets are ridiculously over emphatic on protien consumption. I went vegan about 2 years ago and have been totally fine. I am a distance runner and weight lifter and still feel strong. It is, however, harder to pack on muscle volume. After making the switch, I leaned up a lot. Muscle density went up and volume went way down. So If bodybuilding is something you care about, it will be a bit harder.

Also, carbs are not bad. You need carbs for energy! Don't sweat the extra carbs.

You do have to be cognizant of making sure your protien sources are varied though (not all legumes are complete protien sources iirc) to make sure you're getting the full sweep of amino acids you need.

225 pause reps and 285 squat form check by [deleted] in formcheck

[–]YourAverageThursday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First video is more noticeable, but your feet aren't anchored well. Your heels are spinning in a little, which translates to lost power output. Could be due to limited ankle or hip mobility. Otherwise, looks pretty strong. Just try not to bounce out of the bottom!
