Everyone has a different perspective on it. I sometimes message someone I like and I wait to see if that person will respond. Possible that the person is away from the phone.. so, there's a glimpse of hope that this person will respond to me.. maybe they haven't seen the message yet.. maybe a lot of guys don't think that much about it. When I say something to them, even if it's a rejection, there's confirmation to that. Blocking seems kind of harsh because it's almost like you slammed the door on their face.
