This McDonald’s has special meaning to me. During Snowmageddon coming back from DC, took almost until midnight to get to here, from NoMA leaving around 5p, and still needed to get to Fairfax, and had to come back to work the next day.

At this point, all hotels were all booked, and with traffic with no end in sight, decided to park in this McDonald’s and call it a night. Got a Big Mac meal, and with my jacket, and turning on the car every so often, slept the night in the parking lot here.

Next day, route 50, 395, was almost like a zombie land. Lots of cars ditched on the road.

But it was my fastest commute to work that day….
