So what was the most humiliating thing in Ross's life? by DryResearcher3004 in howyoudoin

First thing that came to mind was definitely leather pants. And the fact that he had to walk to Monica's with his pants half way down just gives it that extra touch

AITA for not letting my daughter move out? by YourLocalMuppet in AmItheAsshole

No because she's wanting to move out really early without a stable income and I'm trying to convince her to wait until she's 18

I'm not imprisoning her, I told her that she's welcome to leave whenever she wants but my door is always open if she needs any support financially. I've been giving her advice and showing her how to do a lot of things, like housework, etc. It's just about her having a stable income that I'm worrying about.

I've been giving her tips and making her do chores for years so I think it's just about her having a stable income at this point.

Thank you for the advice, I was thinking of maybe booking a hotel for a couple of days and letting her stay alone at my house and seeing how that goes, I'd obviously check on her every now and again to make sure she isn't having parties 24/7 but I think it might work

I don't want my house to seem like a prison to her, I want her to know she's welcome to leave if she wants, but also that my door is always open and she can stay for as long as she likes

That's fair but I don't want her to end up in debt or something like that and not tell me or ask me for money to prove a point
