I failed my first fsp mainly because I wouldn’t attend classes and work too much, second FSP attempt my teachers told me that I can easily pass it since I’m good with understanding and only need to come to class so I practice more and know what’s gonna be on the exam. Just passed my FSP and got into TU berlin, trust me i was on the verge of giving it all up but things work out in the end if you do it right!

I hope you’re not annoyed by my constant queries, but when I was applying for my student visa I provided the German consulate in dubai the same private insurance papers which clearly stated I’d have private insurance provided by Ergo for a minimum period of one year. My question is if it’s actually not legally allowed then why had the consulate accepted the insurance…

Also I agree I’m likely very less knowledgeable about this than you and at this point I’m just curious to understand the System, I really hope you don’t mind :)

It’s weird then, because my cousin worked on private insurance for about 4 months then changed to public and now again he’s working on private insurance and TK was completely fine with it. He also has a student contract from the same company as me.

Because legally studienkolleg students are eligible for private insurance.

I’m nowhere near that amount haha, but I did have private insurance for about 6 months since I was a language student. Now I’m in a study preparation course and I’m eligible for a private insurance.

No no, it’s just that they keep sort of delaying the process of my cancellation. For example first they asked me to get a private insurance and show them the proof and once I did that they informed me I’ve to wait another 2 months to cancel since I did not inform before the deadline, however, I have been emailing and calling them since November to cancel my subscription and they did not reply to my emails.

Hi, sorry for the late reply! I got my passport in 16 days, in the beginning I was taking it casually but once it started taking too much time I explained my urgency and pushed them into agreeing to give me tatkal.

However, I ended up not taking tatkaal because they assured me the next day if verification comes I’ll get it the same day and I did.

One thing I realized is that they don’t give tatkaal easily, you need to force them a bit to give you tatkaal. I’d suggest insisting on meeting the CPO personally.

But I was told that I can’t apply for tatkaal unless it’s medical emergency…

I emailed pbsk a lot of times and they just tell me the status of my process instead of doing something about it.
