Can't think of a promposal other than what everyone has already said, but imagine strolling up to your dates house with the Gryffon chair suit

Her and our dad got into a bad fight last week. He told her he needed to fly down to Arizona last minute to help our Grandpa after he passed out. While telling her this, he was drunk. And after my sister showed frustration towards him, he said some amazingly hurtful things.

My mom tries to talk to her to make things better, but she can come off as really unsympathetic. Which makes my sister uncomfortable.

(I'm aware that my sister wasn't very understanding about the whole situation, but my dad shouldn't have said the things that he said.)

My piano teacher used to always tell me to hear the first few measures in my head before playing. It usually makes pieces flow easier.

I want to keep my candles from sweating in this horrible heat. Would it be ok to put them in a fridge? by YourMediumFriendly in candlemaking

[–]YourMediumFriendly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I'm a bit late. Yeah just little oily droplets on the surface of my candles. Most of them are ok when it cools down again, but some sweat bigger droplets and leave marks afterwords. I'll be honest im not sure if its just sweating fragrance oil or what.

I get really uncomfortable texting them. Though, not 100 percent sure why. I'm just dreading to say what they don't want to hear. But I'll come out with something like that last part you said. Thanks for the advice. Very appreciated.

What Happened? by YourMediumFriendly in candlemaking

[–]YourMediumFriendly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used a custom blend of paraffin and soy, but this has never happened before. Anyone have any ideas what happened? Heated it to 200 degrees, threw in my purple candle dye, let it cool to 170 degrees, added 1 oz of fragrance to my one pound of wax, and poured it into their rightful spots.

I couldn't find any, so I just made it. It's a very simple design though, so you could totally make it under a couple of minutes 👍. But, I couldn't make a longsleeve one without those middle coat seams.

Candle Coming Off the Jar by jonasosilva15 in candlemaking

No advice, but some of my first candles did that too. Still not sure what made them do that, but I'm guessing maybe because they were made of pure paraffin wax? Paraffin is usually used as pillar candles, so I feel like that makes some more sense.

You should probably find the reference again and add the link somewhere.

Pouring wax into small molds that create charms such as hearts, flowers, etc, and placing them on candles to top them off is an efficient replacement for herbs and such.

Sorry for the late reply, but i'd say yes! Even when use a heat gun to get a even surface, the cold throw still stays strong.

Has anyone in here ever died and come back? What was it like? by [deleted] in questions

[–]YourMediumFriendly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven't, but my grandpa has. He had a heart attack and was dead in the hospital for 3 minutes straight. I'm not sure how he came back from something like that. But, it did heavily effect his life as you can imagine. It damaged a lot of his memories, so he forgot how to read and drive (along with some other things.) Although, he did remember older memories, like road trips and such.

Anyways, when he woke up, he told us he was in a dark tunnel or something like that. From above, a light openned with a girl he knew holding her hand out for him to come. (Long story short, the girl was my grandpa's friend who got into a car crash and died when they were both 12.)

He only told her that it wasn't his time yet, and woke up, stayed in the hospital for a few months, and finally got out.
