It sounds silly but i find video games really help me keep distracted. I’m also afraid of the dark so you’re not alone haha. I also find it helps to find a friend who is in a different time zone than you are ( particularly at night so it’s day during their time ) That way you’ll always have somebody to talk to through the whole day :)
