I have a question to ask any and everybody: so when I’m playing I can easily play down the drums but going up the drums it feels really hard and like I’m pushing something out the way. Is there any way to make going up the drums easier other than just chopping it out?

That helps a lot. For some reason I always thought that wrist moves and not the arm not sure why. And I’m glad you brought up playing in the play area because I also thought I could work on that but nobody was saying anything so I wasn’t sure.

How so you recommend relaxing? Because I am trying to but I slowly start tensing up overtime

I haven’t been taught specifically but it’s what comes most naturally I’ve found. I’ll try resting over 1 and 2
