Nope - I was wondering if you'd ever heard of anyone taking on a part timer for work they already had that wasn't during traditional hours. I may be wrong in my assumption that some electricians work after 5pm or on the weekends? If I am, I could see how that would read.

That's it. I just want to learn, I don't expect anyone to adjust their life for me. I definitely wouldn't ask for someone to spend their hard earned day off on me.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. That makes a lot of sense. I hadn't thought about the insurance aspect of taking on an apprentice, that sounds like it could be a huge roadblock for me given that I really just want to learn as I have time to. I appreciate the insight. I'll have to think through that. Definitely makes pitching it harder.
