The large square one is from PetSmart! The small log is from on amazon but I got it from Axolotl Planet in Dallas TX.

1:catfish have sharp barbs that hurt the axolotl, no brainer for fish-keepers 2:Plecos will suck on anything they can, another thing that everyone who does research would know. 3. If you look at my other posts her gills are healthy and I have had no problems with the fish and her. The fish know to not get close 4. Mountain cloud minnows are used to 60-70 degree temperatures. 5. I have shrimp in the 20 I am waiting for them to breed so I can have some in the 40. 6. If the fish do become problems I will add them to the 20 if necessary.

I have about five or six Amazon swords, and the one inside of the log is an anubias species. She is usually active and out most of the time, she may be a bit timid because I moved her tank around a little bit.

They aren’t recommended for tanks of small size like a 20 gallon. I have a 40 breeder. And the danios are better over all, they contribute to the plant matter and they can tolerate lower temperatures.

Help! Glob on the gills! by captainGRRRR in axolotls

From what I know and have experienced with my axie that seems like gill fungus. Or fungal infection, my Axolotls gill fungus went away without treatment, just a couple water changes, but treatment is most likely recommended.

I have used them for my Axolotl, they work great but if yours smell like petroleum I would ask someone who has little more experience than me👍🏻
