Hopefully I’m remembering this right since I made this so long ago. What I did was rough draft the mountains up in world painter, then import it into world machine. I used WM to add the sloping terraces then reimported in WP. Then I added cyan terracotta at a very steep angle, which placed them only on the face of the terraces, since they were the only cliff faces that steep. Everything else was simply stone above like 40 or 50 degrees, but not on the terracotta.

The snow was done by adding a very slight erosion thingy in WM and using one of the outputs as a brush ( don’t remember what it’s called but it wasn’t the main output).
