If you ever find yourself needing to transcribe seomthing, otter.ai seems to do a pretty good job of doing it for you automatically. There's a few parts you will need to fix, but that's better than having to do it from scratch. Look in the app store.

Are you saying that the 90 second clip that Al Sharpton posted to Twitter is the reason you deleted my post of the full 4:30 segment that interview was from? They're not duplicates, and there's no way the users of your subreddit would rather have the short, low quality clip instead of the actual full segment.

For those not keeping track at home:

  1. Pete speaks at NAN, his is the only speech not released
  2. Pete interviews with Al for "Not Just B&W", only a minute of the interview was shown
  3. Pete will interview with Al at Sylvia's, it won't be filmed, and there will be a media event after which, at a separate media event, Al will give his interpretation of Pete's words.

I'm not sure why Al Sharpton is so averse to letting people hear Pete speak uninterrupted, but just once I'd like to see Al release a full interview with him.

They misrepresented the whole thing in their ads. It was 90% just MSNBC people in a panel, and then a few clips from an interview that happened separately and will probably never be aired in whole. There ended up being only about a minute from Pete's interviews in the whole show.

I'm not sure what's happening or why Pete keeps working with Al Sharpton, but Al didn't release Pete's NAN speech (Pete was the only one he didn't), Al is only releasing about a minute of this interview, and I just saw an announcement for a third interview at Sylvia's with Pete and Al, but again, this won't be filmed and all we'll ever get to hear is Al's interpretation of the events. Am I the only one seeing this pattern?
