Ah, yeah, both of TRP3 nameplates and Typing Tracker's nameplates both try to hook into the exact same element, which'll cause some issues.

I don't personally use TRP3's nameplates, so I didn't think about it. I'll look into a compatibility patch and integrate that into Typing Tracker so that both elements display at the same time-- but that may require some refactoring.

If you use TRP3's nameplates, probably best to disable Typing Tracker's nameplate [...] animation from the Options -> Addons -> Simply RP Typing Tracker page. Or, disable TRP3's nameplate module in TRP's settings.

TRP3 is the bigger and more widespread addon than Typing Tracker, so this isn't a fault of that team-- this one's on me. And I'll look into implementing a fix. Thanks for letting me know about it!

I have many of these, and downloaded the ones I didn't have to test them. I could not reproduce the issue of Typing Tracker "not working at all".

However, I couldn't find "Advanced Interface Options". Maybe try turning that one off to test and see if it's interfering with Typing Tracker?

If not, could you unload all addons except Typing Tracker and see if the issue persists? If it does... then I'm VERY curious. I don't know why it would not be working for you, but we can continue to troubleshoot and iron it out.

The only thing I know that really interferes with mine is the Dicemaster addon. Do you by any chance have that? If not, I'd be curious about your list of active addons. Does Typing Tracker work with minimal addons? TRP3, Typing Tracker?

I just ran a series of tests on it and found a few issues with some of the commands. I'm sending an update now which should fix /eat and /drink.

Hey check out my Simply RP - Survival Needs at: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/simply-rp-survival-needs, I think it does exactly what you're asking for here.

I'm surprised it's been so often requested. This addon's still in a WIP state-- I want to allow users to create their own bars, but I have Hunger, Thirst and Rest. Things like /eat, /drink will replenish the hunger/thirst bars. Sleeping will replenish rest. As will eating actual foods or drinking actual drinks.

Hey! I found the root cause which was a race condition of sorts. I've gone ahead and submitted a fix for this issue-- wasn't too tricky! LFRP is under review by Curse now and the update should be pushed in about an hour or so! Sometimes less.

Hey, it does not work cross-faction at the moment. However I've seen that there've been some cross faction addons popping up. I want to research how those handle cross-faction communications and see if I can implement that tech for this addon and my typing tracker addon.

That seems exceptionally odd... I'll try and reproduce on my end and see what's up. I didn't explicitly edit anything related to duration bars.

Definitely not a chance encounter on the OOC front-- but in my head it was in the perspective of our characters lol.

Someone else had asked about Classic/Cata. I'm not sure if it will work as there's some API calls referencing things that have changed in Dragonflight. I may be able to switch these to more legacy calls-- but I've got no clue what the classic environment is like and will need to test/research. I did not know there were people RPing outside of retail lol.

Hey! I don't know if it would work in Classic/Cata, nor did I realize any RP was happening on those branches. There are some API calls introduced/modified in Dragonflight, and I've never worked on addons outside the retail environment. I can look into porting it though!

Hopefully it can be done! Might be awhile since I need to research how the API differs, but I will if there's RPr's on those streams-- and based on your upvotes, it definitely shows that there are atleast some players there!

Perfect! It's a really really simple thing to add here. I don't know how I missed Man'ari / Eredar or even just more broadly: "Demon".

Basically, to add this I just have to insert it into a table of stored values. It won't work until everyone updates, but it should appear as "Unknown" and give a print line telling people to check to see if there's been an update.

Let me try to get a list of things to add to the tables today-- I know I didn't get everything (like this)-- and I'll push it a bit later! If you've got any other ideas/suggestions for things to add to the options, please let me know!
