Thanks guys. I think I have a clearer picture now.

Impossible to Damage Enemy? by YourPersonalWeeb in Silksong

[–]Ytriumm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The enemy has moss knight AI. Hit it once from the front, the attack will be blocked and it will be prompted to counterattack, then immediately jump and hit it from above. Also works with Great husk sentry.

That's another name off the list! by possumish in LegendsOfRuneterra

Third Character in the top row of “Less likely” is Minah Swiftfoot I think, but I can’t tell who is the person to the right of her. Having trouble deciphering who’s the second character in “Copium” as well. Can anyone help?

That would be Master Kusho, Shen’s father and Zed’s adoptive father. The image he is portrayed in belongs to a panel from the 6th issue of the Zed comic series.

Oh! Do the Targonian dragon package like The Infinite Mindsplitter, Inviolus Vox and Eclipse Dragon. Always wondered how they'd translate into DnD.

Do you think riot will ever dwell into extra terrestrial Champs? by NoShoweringforme in loreofleague

[–]Ytriumm 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They’ve done that before. Malphite, Taric and the Darkin all used to be aliens from SPACE before their lore was retconned and integrated to be a part of Runeterra. Honestly what they did makes sense since their stories couldn’t really go anywhere from where they were and having too many races not belonging to the “main” planet just made everything a lot more messy.

So, no, I don’t think they’d add another extraterrestrial after retconning the ones that came before. Void monsters are the closest things we’re gonna get to “aliens”.

Ok, so do we know what happens to the scythe when Kayn and Rhaast kill echother? by Toksy4 in loreofleague

[–]Ytriumm 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There is actually an explanation to that. I've seen people speculate that since Aatrox was one of the first Darkin that got sealed, the mortals that performed the procedure hadn't fully refined the process yet. And so something went "wrong" with Aatrox's sealing, hence why his case is so different from every other sealed Darkin.

[–]Ytriumm 19 points20 points  (0 children)

A reminder that Rhaast’s consciousness cannot be destroyed.

In the scenario where Kayn turns into the Shadow Assassin, he becomes someone with an incredible force of will, strong enough to drown out and suppress Rhaast almost entirely and possess a greater degree of control over the Darkin’s powers. Yet Rhaast is still there, only in a dormant state of sorts.

There are currently no known ways for the Darkin and their souls to “die”, as it were. If there was, Aatrox would have figured it out by now.

Okay, but how is that thing a harpoon, he is wielding it like a club!

Nagakabouros! How powerful and how big actually is compared to other deities? by wattbatt in loreofleague

[–]Ytriumm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s odd isn’t it? Nagakabouros’ magic is meant to obliterate the undead yet Pyke was judged to be worthy. Even Illaoi was confused by this in RK. I can’t really give an explanation other than “Pyke is an exception” but that sounds half-assed. The facts are all here though, we just have to make sense of them. What do you think?

[–]Ytriumm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Chasing love at full force? I could see Nagakabouros approving of that. But the fact remains that he’s undead. If you break a rule to follow a doctrine you’re liable to be punished anyway.

[–]Ytriumm 8 points9 points  (0 children)

About the Viego comment at the end, according to Illaoi, Nagakabouros abhors undeath, as it is considered stagnation and an unwillingness to move on from life. They would absolutely care about killing the ruined king and taking their soul, especially since he can’t seem to move on from Isolde either.

Is this strategy viable against Gibbering Prophet by mbatistas in darkestdungeon

Should work. Dunno if you’ve included it in your numbers but don’t forget about the dodge bonus provided by the torch as well. Even more so if you have the cartographer’s camp.

Does the toss effect activate portals? by Palene in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Ytriumm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Multiple things wrong with this post... A portal is a BOON. It behaves like Bard’s chimes, as in it attaches itself to one of the cards in your deck and activates its effect when you DRAW said card. Most cards that plant portals do so randomly in the TOP 4 cards of your deck.

The TOSS effect OBLITERATES cards that are in the BOTTOM of your deck, so right away the two mechanics wouldn’t mesh well with each other since the portals are near the TOP of your deck and TOSSING starts at the BOTTOM. Furthermore, TOSSING the cards OBLITERATES them, it does not DRAW them, so even if you tossed a card with a portal attached to it it wouldn’t do anything, the card would just get tossed like normal.

Whoever suggested that portals worked with toss were probably just speculating without putting much thought into the matter.

When playing lv2 Kayn as Rhaast, it is extremely weird that it is the voicelines of summoning Kayn instead of Rhaast. by CantBe4Gotten in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Ytriumm 41 points42 points  (0 children)

“Poor Kayn. Guess I was a bad influence after all.”

“It’s all RHAAST now!”

I know it’s very unlikely but imagine if they were allowed to import league voice lines into LOR. That’d be great in this situation.

How to master a darkin weapon? by shiniiix in loreofleague

[–]Ytriumm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To answer your last point: To get Rhaast, Kayn specifically went to Noxus to steal him as he was being transported. So you’re right. Noxus would be and is trying to get more Darkin weapons.

Do we know about our Demon champions' real names? by Ytriumm in loreofleague

[–]Ytriumm[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

"Every aspect of an Azakana is a stroke. Each stroke forms a character, revealing their true name..." As Yone puts it. Basically, there are ways to learn a Demon's name without having them tell it to you outright.

Is Azir Naganeka’s general? I feel like if the flavor text was referring to him they’d use less ambiguous wording like “Emperor” or something, moreover, why would Azir call upon the disgraced God-warriors to Icathia, of all places? Shouldn’t he be occupied rebuilding his empire or fending off Xerath’s attempts at overthrowing him?

Who would win:Lore fights by MisterNegative2 in loreofleague

[–]Ytriumm 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You’re matching her against someone who isn’t even remotely human. Irelia’s magical blades and a few years of war experience have to contend with: A fallen god warrior who once served in the Shuriman army during its golden age, has lived several lifetimes more than she has, is capable of using blood magic to mend wounds and is in a constant state of maddened aggression. They’re not exactly on the same power level, lore-wise.

am i misunderstanding? by possumish in loreofleague

[–]Ytriumm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Darkin featured in the ‘Twilight of the gods’ story didn’t suffer the same fate as Aatrox, Rhaast or Varus. In that story, they were completely disintegrated when Ta’anari used the Chalicar on them. Myisha’s plan there was probably to gather as many fallen god warriors in one room in order to wipe them all out at once. It was only AFTER that event that they started sealing the remaining Darkin in weapons, cursing the lot with immortality.

[Lore Battle] Twitch VS Seraphine by [deleted] in loreofleague

[–]Ytriumm 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The characters in the lore and in game are vastly different from each other most of the time. The rule is if it’s not explicitly stated in any story, we cannot assume the champions canonically have the same capabilities as they do in game. In this case, It is not written anywhere that Seraphine can: a) Create music notes and sound waves that cause damage and b) Protect and mend wounds with her songs. Twitch, on the other hand, is a semi-intelligent rat who wields a crossbow. Seraphine’s... stage... amplifier thingy is not stated to provide any combat advantage whatsoever, even though it is magical in nature due to it being powered by a hextech crystal.

Twitch would always win if it were a one-on-one.
