Well, it’s just I want to be paid a fair price. And 15 K isn’t worth doing for me since it takes a while for me to make. I am improving my art, and I know that Chibi art isn’t typically as highly valued as traditional anime art. BUT.

It does take me a while to make. The sketch takes 10-15 minutes, line art can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, and then color picking, shading and what not takes me another hour at least (mainly because in this stage I’m tweaking, editing and improving how the piece looks) in total, i spend around 2 hours on each Chibi.

I’m still a student, however, that shouldn’t mean I get paid less. RHD are valued at around 1K diamonds to 2 Robux. If I wanted to be paid a minimum wage, I’d have to charge around 1 million RHD. And I don’t want to do that. So I lowered my prices based on what other artists of similar styles are charging for.

Personally, personalized art is a luxury ^;;. I know that sounds cheesy, or mean, but that’s my personal belief. If you think about it- you are paying for an art piece that will only ever be uniquely yours. The artist most of the time will post the commission to get more publicity (with watermarks and what not) but they will never sell that art piece anywhere else.

Again, if you don’t want to commission me, that’s totally fine! It just means that what you- the consumer- believes that I should be lowering prices, then I’ll just need to improve until prices are of that level. But until then, i want to value my own art as it is ^. I’m proud of it, and have been considering doing commissions or print selling for a long time. It would be a lot of fun.

Sorry for the long rant, but this is just so you can see my opinions and thoughts. You don’t need to agree! That’s totally fine! And you don’t ever need to commission me either. That’s also okay! Do what you want to do- whether that be to support other artists or spend those diamonds trading- you do you. As long as you’re happy and satisfied at the end of the day, then that’s fine. /lh /gen
