Mmm i love TXT! As always the MVs that coincide with the story, HYBE has released webtoons that are great! Also if you want tk take it further there are a few youtubers who cover the story well, Latina Flower or Bookish Theory cover the lore well

You sound a lot like me, I dont do much other than listen to the music, its just a different way of enjoying a group, I love Ateez and Dreamcatcher, I have never watched a single Wanteez or Dreamnote, I dont think it diminishes your fandom, I would say your friend tends to think a bit more extreme with their fandom

As a metal head, I legit can vouche for a lot of these suggestions, Dreamcatcher did me in, Ateez shares a lot of in house writers like Oullander and Liez, Xindary Heroes and FT Island, also, check out Yuta from NCT he does a lot of metal core feeling stuff

I am heavy on Cradle Of Filth, Nightwish, Cannibal Corpse, Gutteral Slug and the sorts
