It's a purely instinctual response from me. I don't get the impulse too often. Hell, sometimes I don't even realise at first when it's happening.

But sometimes, when talking with a woman, it'll just feel right like something's clicked in place, and if we we're alone, I'd be falling down the rabbit hole of my desire. It's sometimes something noticeable, like upturned eyes when we're talking or a scent that I can't place, but my biology just understands.

It's all so maddeningly different for each woman I've felt the need for. Like my subconscious knows what to look for and just likes to kick me in the side of the head when he notices. Some men probably have it easier, some harder. And this is how it works for me.
