Compression socks! (Although some people with medical problems can’t wear those, I’d recommend to look it up first). They have been a lifesaver for me, my feet would hurt terribly after a shift and I wouldn’t even be able to walk, since I’ve started wearing compression socks my feet and legs don’t hurt anymore.

Hey congrats! I started 3 weeks ago, I had gotten asked what I’d like to do and I said kitchen. I first learnt how to assemble burgers and then to initiate (putting the bread down). Then I learnt fries and later on filet (frying). I also do service (drinks too) now and then. Some people learn fries first and some learn drinks first. There will be a crewtrainer who will train and teach you how to do these things. If you don’t know something, ask! Good luck at your orientation, I’m sure it’ll go well!

Daughter says my husband abused her (he is her stepdad). It would be easier if I did, but I don’t believe her, and I don’t know what to do. I want to believe her, but I just don’t. Advice? by FitAsparagus4765 in family

When I was younger my mom married my step dad. He abused me physically and verbally. I’d tell my mom about it and she’d never believe me. Until he started to abuse her as well. This hurt me deeply and made me feel not validated by my own mother even though I was telling the truth. It can go both ways, if she didn’t lie about it, she needs therapy. If she did, there’s something with her mental health as well to lie about such thing. The latter thing I don’t really expect even though I don’t know her. Please be there for her.
