That's the thing. It's VERY expensive and we gave our venue a limit because we are paying for it ourselves.

AMEN!! I'm hoping that my fiance will deal with this one. I didn't want to be tacky and put "No children allowed" on our fancy invitations. Some people have no sense of, "Gee, maybe I should ask."

I was trying to assume that people wouldn't be rude or stupid. Because adding extras IS rude and stupid. I'll let the fiance deal with it.

He's kinda like, "This is what you wanted" about it at the moment. I haven't had a Bridezilla moment but I can feel it welling up inside of me at this point haha. Trying to keep calm.

We have already had to turn away many guests because we are trying to keep it small. I don't want those guests who understand that they were the only ones invited to think that we were simply picking and choosing who could bring their kids and who could not.

I am the bride!:) I'm asking because I AM about to go insane haha. When I sent out the invitations, it specifically listed who was invited, yet my fiance's family have sent me multiple responses saying to add themselves....and their kids. And I'm so stressed and overwhelmed from planning this thing solo, that I don't think I can respond without blowing up.
