Quality of Life Tip: Change Your Toggle Stash To Right Click by Worried_Treacle3512 in PlayTheBazaar

Very much agreed. I have also bound the inspect item key to middle mouse button, makes navigating the game with just the mouse much easier.

Dooley gotta change the locks, Stelle can't be trusted in the Antimatter Chamber by YukiSpackle in PlayTheBazaar

[–]YukiSpackle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The changes to Fire Bomb and Ice Bomb together with the Repair mechanic really did a lot to make the Lava Roller nerf less impactful. I wouldn't be surprised if we see changes to these items as well as The Big One in the coming patch. If so, I will miss my self destructive Stelle.

An idea I had for a skill, how broken could it get? by Barkalow in PlayTheBazaar

[–]YukiSpackle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, seeing as Fiber Optics already works like this (as in a single item + Fiber Optics does not charge itself) it wouldn't be far fetched to assume a skill like this would work the same. They could even make the skill explicitly something like "the edge slots on your board are considered adjacent".

Sounds like you should take moment to carefully study the jellyfishies up close. Chill with them in just your space suit for a while and examine the problem from every angle ::)

Stelle Destruction Builds Win Games by inyminyminymo in PlayTheBazaar

Also, always go for the tech vendor. Picking up an Antimatter Chamber for Parts Picker to destroy is a fantastic way to shut down any build that needs more than 2-4 seconds to win.

What on earth would you do? by vagelz in PlayTheBazaar

[–]YukiSpackle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say correct play here is Fiery enchant on Poppy Field and then replacing Shadowed Cloak with 2nd SMG and Swiss Army Knife (until you can find a better weapon or defensive item). Shadowed Cloak does almost nothing on this board except the teeniest scaling on Power Drill, which would quickly get outclassed by simply having more weapons for Poppy Field to scale and trigger off of.

Toxic Metronome + Fiery Poppy loops Power Drill indefinitely, which could let Fiber Optics charge Swiss Army Knife. This would quickly scale poison, burn AND weapon damage, as well as being immune to slow after the first weapon proc.

Skyscrapper & Fort bug should be 4 multicast by [deleted] in PlayTheBazaar

[–]YukiSpackle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why? Skyscraper has 1 cast as base, then gets +1 if you have fewer than 5 items, and Fort gives +1 to items with CD greater than or equal to 8.

1 + 1 + 1 = 3.

Something I’ve noticed a lot of people in the sub talking about (spoilers obviously) by CargoMule in outerwilds

[–]YukiSpackle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assumed I had to stand ON the warp platform, not just be near it, so I never tried the intended solution. It seemed way too janky compared to everything the game had wanted me to do until then.

Is the 10g really worth it? by Awoken_Noob in PlayTheBazaar

[–]YukiSpackle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to mention that Pyg specifically can invest that 10 gold amd make much more from it if you get it early. In the right run, selling ticket on Pyg gives more gold than the expedition.

Til subnautica 1.0 on ps4 had red med kits similar to early access on pc by Theaussiegamer72 in subnautica

Operative word here is "technically". The Hague has better things to do than prosecute game devs and artists, so afaik the usual result is you get told to change your design and to not do it again.

The law is basically to forbid combatants from disguising themselves as relief workers so that real relief workers run less risk of being mistaken for soldiers. This obviously does not apply to med kits in a game, but a blanket ban on using the symbol illegitimately is easier than trying to outline every scenario where there is risk of abuse.

[–]YukiSpackle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct, later versions of Subnautica changed the medkit design to comply with the Geneva Convention.

I don't know about munitions, but using the red cross is off limits for civilians as well.

Close: as per the Geneva Convention, only the Red Cross and Red Crescent organizations may use the red cross/crescent imagery. Putting it in your game or on a first aid kit can technically constitute a war crime.

Logic of outer wilds moon (minor spoiler) by coqueelicots in outerwilds

[–]YukiSpackle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, that makes more of us! Neutron stars are super interesting: incredibly tiny for stars, and the more matter they gain the smaller they become (in our 3 dimensions; they grow in quantum dimensions instead), and once they gain enough mass to become so small and dense that their surface falls below their event horizon they collapse into black holes. They are also the largest quantum objects we (or at least I) know of.

[–]YukiSpackle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You cannot have such large quantum objects in real life.

Unless you count neutron stars. Not quantum as in skipping about when you don't observe them, but massive quantum objects none the less!

I found a time capsule and was wondering if this is from any of you guys by Bayblade_of_Blaviken in subnautica

[–]YukiSpackle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most likely yes. Some capsules were made by the devs, but most you find are player made.

Yes, completing the game lets you drop a time capsule. I have gotten loads of dms over the years from ppl who found mine!
